Looks like Assault is reselling these links and plans to screw us over. I wouldn't buy any more links from him - already send a dispute with paypal. I found out because the real owner of the sites sent me an e-mail asking if I had bought any links from what I assume is Assault's real e-mail. Below is the email I received:


Dear customer,

Please validate the information.

Do you have bought the text links from the <assaults email> 10 days.

Price : $40/ten days.

Because I worried you meet a liar.

I felt that coming. I was worried that my posts were obnoxious so I did not push it. But this guy will keep coming back again and again, Linkbay -> sticks-> Assault Most likely the same guy. Only way to catch him is make him PROVE ownership with a signature at the bottom of the page in HTML, when he does not do that you KNOW he is a scammer. From now on I am assuming all new people are here to scam, because that is what keeps happening

It's unfortunate for the legit seller which "might" show up, but I agree with you Doc
 
tencentpiece and doc - thanks for the heads up. i sensed something was horribly wrong because he was being extremely pushy
 
Its happend to me few times from few members here - I bought "pernament" link on PR website he placed a link and after a week or two links disappear
