Gah, that is awful. You can just go to Office Depot for something like that.

For an affordable yet much more modern and somewhat ergonomic solution, seriously have a look at Ikea's business office furniture dept. This is completely separate from their regular home catalog.

You at least want height adjustment in your work surface and, although not absolutely necessary, a keyboard tray if possible.

edit: looks like they might have merged their office furniture or I can't find the corporate division online.

HON is okay stuff for entry level office furniture (entry-level being past what you get st Staples/Office Max/etc).

Fatbat is right about the IKEA stuff. The Galant system they sell at IKEA is very very good value and a fantastic height-adjustable desk.

Two 30's. Just got a new house too.

The setup on the left is for my employee. I'm looking to rent an office now so I don't have to cram all this shit in my condo. If I took a new pic, you'd see an xbox360 there to... so I can betray all you bitches in halo)

How do you like the Embody? I went to a local Design Within Reach to try one out but then didn't have a floor model.

Takes time to get accustomed but after a while, it feels like you're sitting on a hammock.

Might also want to give the steelcase leap chair a throw. Sometimes I feel like the leap chair is a lot more fluid compared to the complexity of the embody.
