How about a slightly more authoritative source? Especially when most scientists view cold fusion as junk science.

You should watch the BBC documentary 'Can we make a star on earth?', hosted by Brian Cox, a particle physicist. He visits a bunch of different facilities working on fusion via different methods.

The most interesting to me was the Z machine, it actually does produce a surplus of energy via fusion, the problem being it can only be fired once, and then some major components have to be replaced\reloaded for it to fire again amongst a host of other technical difficulties. Nevertheless they have achieved fusion.

Z Pulsed Power Facility

It's hardly junk science!

See how ripped his body is playa?

"Screw publishing in Nature. People will pay much more attention to our research if we post it on that website we designed in 1983."

Rossi and Focardi's joint work was rejected by a peer-reviewed scientific journal, and appeared in Rossi's self-published blog, Journal of Nuclear Physics.

I don't know if this guy is a fraud or not, but naming your blog "Journal of Nuclear Physics" is a big red flag.

Yeah, that's kinda what I was driving at :)

I dunno, I hope I'm wrong but will reserve judgement until I see it published in a respectable scientific publication like the Daily Mail.

an AP reporter will be publishing an article on this latest experiment in a few days.

There are rumors going around that the big buyer is the US military. It might be a hoax, but there is a possibility its for real.

cold fusion yeah right
I'll believe it once several peer reviewed studies confirm it
