awesome! the community support is fucking great here.

thanks for the tips everyone, ill keep reading coding and checking my accounts :)

I actually started out with $0 as well, but got lucky with the AdCenter coupons, think I used up close to $2000 for free and then reinvested everything each month.

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm in college and am currently paying back $4000 in loans for my first year in college(will add $4000 more this year). You got to understand that this business has a really good profit return. It's not uncommon to see a 200% return for a lot of people. If you invest $300 the first month you will make $600 for next month etc etc until you build up momentum. Yea your gonna lose money if you don't know what you're doing, but that's just part of the game. I've made PLENTY of mistakes and lost a lot of money, but I've learned what newbies would beg for. Just do it and you will laugh at how stupid this question is in the future :p

Thats what I did - I spent like $278 in the first month but made $440 in arbi. Kept it up, and Netted 10k that first year, which was from March to Dec....just have to try.

Plus, once you get some PR on a site (like 4 and up), milk the shit out of it and start selling links or HMP's on DP. People will buy anything like someone else here said.

Good luck.

I started with $100 doing PPC AM, been reinvesting the profits ever since and have been doing pretty well. I would maybe wait a month or two before you do anything, just lurk on the board and read everything.

Thats what I did, and its worked out for me.

I don't think you need more than $500 to do most things on this forum. Jon's thread about blogging requires only $200 for PPC

A year and a half ago, I started my network with the last $17 in my bank account. At this point in time, I've earned FAR more than I've spent. I'm well into the black now, and seeing profits every day.

The more you learn, the more you'll make. One thing I can say... you can't be scared of spending money. Whether it's on domains, advertising, buying links, trying something new, whatever. You have to take risks to make bank. You'll win some and lose some. It's part of the game.

mate if you don't have a lot of cash but you got some time what you should do is affiliate and then start bum marketing.

Very true, but he's just starting out and probably a bit cautious. If he blows $300 on a project that bombs (and it's very likely his first few projects will not be huge successes) he'll get demoralized.

I'm more along the lines of low risk/ low return. May start out with arbi. You can start playing with the big boys once you get steady income.

I just started a crappy arbi campaign with a low daily budget just to test things out. I started another page with a certain offer and I'm up $7. Mind you I started on the 1st of the month with $5 in my adwords account and a website built on the last couple hours of june. i've seen steady changes in net+/- and i've tracked everything on spreadsheets. i'm doing this until i fully grasp the concept and learn from little losses and gains compared to dropping a couple hundred into a brand new site. hope my unproven method gives you an idea of what you might want to try. so far (8 days ) it's been working for me.
