What I don't understand is how so many higher profile sites accept ad tags from affiliates but pof would not. This makes optimization of the ad space nearly impossible and promotes copying rather than innovating.

Looking forward to this. I agree with the requests for the third party ad tags. Couple of other things would put you on my Christmas card list -

Geographical targeting - along with estimated daily / monthly impression delivery.

Frequency capping.

Retargeting.

Projected CPM for given audience.
