Turns out a gambling license is needed on Yahoo Adcenter and Adwords, just to promote Bingo. Go figure.

A lesson has been learnt. But due to the input from all here, confidence went up, and I put together another LP for another offer and have launched that today. So not all doom and gloom.

Sorry to hear about the silly gambling license requirement.

Thanks for posting this thread and to emp and everyone else that contributed. I learned a lot. I don't put much time into design details on my sites and prefer to throw something up and focus more on SEO and promotion. I have always thought a site that gets a lot of traffic even if its a little ugly will make more money than a beautiful site that only gets a little traffic. I am starting to learn though that looks really do matter and I appreciate the help in learning to spot areas that need improvement. :music06:

Finally managed to get a second tier engine (MIVA) to run this campaign.

Early results are

Clicks on Ad 153
Clicks through LP to Advertiser 7

Or 4.5%.

I don't know if this reflects on the LP at all as this traffic could well be very poor.

Not good. Is MIVA cheap traffic? Or should I start ranting about that damn button again?
