Piracetam

Thanks I've been lurking these forums for quite some time for the IM information and have been keeping a hawk eye on this specific thread for a good months of time.

I honestly was taking the 1,600mg - 2,400mg doses of piracetam and reaped slight effects compared to the large doses I have stepped it up to. I think that the Caffeine does work synergistically with the Piracetam when I take it from time to time. The next racetam I feel will be next in the addition is Oxiracetam. This is also a water soluble substance with similar effects to the Neuro Boost. As of now, I am content with the the stack I have been using. I've been gathering some information about Pram as well. I wonder what differs the effects of pram to oxi. They are both potent imo, but I haven't gathered enough information to compare the both of them.

Have you ever used a Cholinergic source with the racetams you take? I'm glad to hear you use caffeine as well. And using Creatine? - that is interesting but raises my eyebrow :) thank you for your quick response by the way.

Why does using creatine in conjunction with said ingredients raise your eyebrow? It's a neurological effect vs a physiological effect with no overlap.

For those interested, ALCAR is also something to look into. 1-2g will do.

I personally use it pre workout and it's great.

Look into Focus XT by SNS.

Focus XT + Piracetam is great win, because it has a huge amount of choline in it.

Rumor has it that a huge shipment of piracetam to a primary supplier in the US got nabbed by the FDA. The stuff is going to be gone (at least for a while), so I hope everyone stocked up.

If we have a piracetam drought, your best bet is to get something that requires smaller dosages, like pram, oxi, or ani. These are easier for suppliers to get into the country, I guess.

When I take the racetams, I get loaded up for a 3 hour work binge. Then my brain is then freakin exhausted from being on slight overdrive. Just finished 4 hours and off to bed.

I just got my first order of Piracetam. Figured I'd talk about it here instead of starting a new thread.

I took my first "attack" dose of 2grams with 500mg of Choline about 45 minutes ago. I got the powder from these guys...

Piracetam Cognitive High Purity Powder Foil Sealed for freshness. Ultra Pure Powder.: Health & Personal Care[/ame]

It does take like shit, but not too bad. Also bought my Choline from them.

I'm posting now because I'm surprised at what I'm already feeling. Sort of a very noticeable sense of calm/well-being and a really strong desire to be productive.

It's nothing like Adderall, completely different, definitely not a placebo effect either. My initial reaction is I REALLY like it. I'm going to knock some work out.

I'll post back here after a few days if anyone's interested.

Been using nootropics for a while now. I started on aniracetam and cdp choline. I found that the effects varied batch to batch. Sometimes the choline would make me really lethargic and sleepy, other orders made me really alert and didn't have fatigue.

I stacked aniracetam, piracetam, choline, alcar and sulbutiamine and didnt notice more than normal. However sulbutiamine and caffeine is very effective. Took it on a Saturday once and I was just chilling at home then 30 mins later I was super hyped up and bouncing off the walls to do something. Ended up going out in central london after driving 200 miles to pick friends up. This is not normal behavior for me as I'm a lazy fucker on weekends. Never been so motivated in my life.

Still looking for my perfect stack though. I've tried a ton of combinations and dosages I must be getting close.

I got piracetam a couple weeks ago; I've been taking it every day. I can't say I've really noticed anything notable but I also take stims daily as well, so that kind of taints my experience.

Yeah, I'm new to nootropics (have taken prescribed stems with overall positive results), but from what I understand the effectiveness is going to vary drastically from person to person.

I was expecting to feel nothing (still feeling really good).

The reviews I've read vary from feeling nothing to life changing, so I figured it was worth a shot. Feeling it hit immediately is definitely a good sign. I'm going to see how I feel on this after a couple of weeks and start playing around with a stack.

Same company slightly cheaper direct bodybuilding supplements at wholesale direct prices. when I ordered from them in the past. Did not compare with their Amazon store just now but they had a deal if you bought $40 or $50 from them shipping was free. Also the shipping time was like 2 days. Not sure how it compares atm.

It does seem to vary greatly person to person. One side effect for me is that I don't get hangovers or nausea anymore (worth it just for this). Like when I'm going hard in the gym doing weights or cardio, I don't get that nausea when I'm close to my limits like I used to. So I'm pushing myself further. I haven't read of anyone else having this effect, though obviously reviews are limited and some might not even notice this depending on lifestyles.

This effect for me comes from Aniracetam. I only did Piracetam for about a month and didn't notice anything above what I had on Aniracetam alone.

Pramiracetam puts me to sleep. Within 30 minutes of taking it I just get mega lethargy and begin to stare at my screen, not even day dream just complete mind blank. It's kind of crazy, but not really good if you're trying to work!

Haven't tested Oxiracetam properly yet. I have about 20g's so might have to test this out soon.

I do about 1500mg Aniracetam and 500mg CDP Choline 4 or 5 days a week. More choline than this and I find the effects negative, much less and I seem to get throbbing headaches after a few hours.

Had a really interesting experience with Alcohol last night. This stuff seems to synergize with it like crazy.

It was my buddies birthday, went to see a local band play. I had 3 beers and was feeling amazing. 3 beers usually doesn't even get me mildly buzzed.

I was really euphoric, had a ton of energy, was way more outgoing and just having a lot more fun than usual. It was like experiencing all of the stuff I enjoy about drinking without having to get shitfaced to feel it.

Pretty wild. I don't think I've ever stopped at only 3 beers when going out to drink.

Took 2 grams today when I woke up and 2 more after lunch, the effects are similar to yesterday, still enjoying it.

Wanted to post about the drinking thing because I found that very cool.

I wonder if in the future we'll look back at all of this and just shake our heads...
Seems to be a ton of chemicals you're shoving down your throats, with no real scientific evidence of what the long term effects might be, because we all know FDA approval means diddly-squat...

On the other hand, many of us drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes, which is, in essence, poison to our bodies.

Just a heads up if you're taking adderall, it may not be a good idea to take piracetam or other racetams at the same time, because it may cause excitotoxicity. I don't know for sure if it does or not, just seen it mentioned on a few forums, and it would probably suck to fry your neurons.

It's called addiction. 89% of the people on this forum are addicted to one thing or another, sometimes multiple things. It's the only way they get things done, satisfy the emptiness within, or keep their personal demons at bay. But hey, at least they're "banking", bro.

had similar experiences as well. do you plan on upping your doses? for me, moving from 2.5 grams to 6 grams a day was a totally different feel and for the better.

there used to be a journal from a guy named Aaron Bosma but he's taken it down it looks like. he was doing something like 10g+ a day along with a few other things and described it as 'godlike'

I use Piracetam to combat desensitization of galantamine which i use for lucid dreaming. Its harmless (obviously overdosing on anything is not a smart thing to do).

Maybe experimentally for a couple of days. ~3-4 g's a day seems to have a really positive impact on me so far.

I've read about guys taking 20g's+ a day, with a similar "god like" feeling. So it's something I'm curious about.

Just to be clear I'm not taking this to make alcohol more fun, I'm taking it to think clearer for work, that just happened to be a side-effect I noticed.

As for lucid dreaming, I experienced some CRAZY shit today after dosing before a nap after a camping trip where I got little sleep. I slept for probably 4 hours camping, came home, took ~1g and went to sleep. That could be an entire book on it's own, craziest/most vivid dreams I've ever had.

@Hellblazer: Do your homework on Racetams. I'd say that caffeine is more dangerous. It's not a "drug" in that sense, the effects have been studied since the '60's and are well documented. It's not like dropping addie's for a productivity boost. Completely different.

All in all the effects are pretty consistent so far. Calmness, a sense of energy/urgency to work and mental clarity are the most noticeable benefits. It kind of opens your brain up if that makes sense. I don't struggle to find the right words when talking/writing. The studies I've read on stuttering, dyslexia, Alzheimer's, etc are pretty interesting to me. It's like it bridges gaps in people's brains that were broken for whatever reason.
