Our daughter Sophia was born on Saturday night and got to come home with mom today. It's such an amazing thing to hold your baby for the first time. We're really lucky to have her and I think she's the cutest and best ever born, but then again I'm probably a little biased.

Going to take a bit of getting used to the sleep schedule and only getting a couple hours at a time, but it will be worth it. I wasn't sure if I was allowed to post a pic of her, so I refrained...but I will if it's ok.

Nice, we were going to name our daughter Sophia.. she should be here by dec. 22

Congrats man. Welcome to the meaning of life. Being a parent is the most difficult and nerve-racking thing you've ever known yet the benefits are immeasurable. You realized that the moment you locked eyes with her after delivery.

Man..is everyone here expecting or just have a baby? Thanks for the warm wishes. Congrats & good luck to you new and soon to be Dad's also.

It's already a ton of work, but after we can get into a routine things will be a little easier I'm sure.

Wife had to have a c section, so she's a little beat up still, but we both work from home and she's taking December off, which is great.
 
Anyone born now is going to see some serious worldwide events (population booms, large impact epidemics, food shortages, resource wars etc..), maybe your daughter is the equivalent of John Connor, take care of her and congrats!

Congrats! My 3rd is coming around May 1st, so yeah, everyone is having a child around here it seems. Anyways, like you said, that feeling is amazing, so enjoy it because soon they will almost be 5 (like my oldest).
 
it is cool to see all WFers here are family oriented. I think I am but many times I wonder if Id be an ahole once I have kids?

coming from a broken home I wonder if that would ever reflect once the kids come. Hope not.
