New Providers - Your Going To Start Giving Reviews

Just another note,

New providers, dont make your starting thread look like a fucking rainbow!! And the mods dont like it.

Hello

I am pushing

Some fruit-loops

Please buy some

Firstly a disclaimer: I am a new service provider and currently have 2 services listed here (although, I buy some services as well)

Some of my experience and opinions.

- Since I am new, I have to continue to ask for iTrader and request my buyers to post reviews. I know at times it is annoying and time consuming for a buyer to do that, but that is how a seller is judged. i.e the iTraders and reviews

- Free reviews - I have been asked for free reviews and in a lot of cases I have offered and provided free or discounted reviews. This cuts into my time and a loss for me. but, that is the cost of doing business.

:)

memy hit a couple sore points.

iTrader-
What does a seller need to get a positive itrader-
do the work as stated-

What does a buyer need to do to get a positive itrader-
pay the seller to do the work,
hope it's done decently,
give the seller a positive itrade
then seller gets itrade

Well as a buyer your fucked already.
I paid my money. What else is expected of a buyer?
(time for me to put up old sig line)

Free Reviews-

If a seller will not provide a free review in exchange for a review of their service then -eat shit and die-

Then there is the line-
Review copy to trusted chrome domed plated idiots: one half off regular idiot price.-
Of course cheap fucking idiots want a discounted price and do not care about much else.
So their review is worthless to me.

please feel free to replace - trusted chrome dome idiot with trusted idiot member

Ahhh this sounds like people wanting the government to step in to solve a problem to make up for a lack of personal responsibility. Gov't usually f's it all up.

Grow a pair and be responsible. Set your own rules as to who you will and won't do business with. We don't need a new policy or a new sticky. I've never ever been burned by anybody I've done business with here. It's either luck or I set things up as low risk for me. And I'm a n00b compared to a lot of people here.

I don't think people selling services need to be forced to do anything. If they want to give out the reviews let them. If not - fine by me. It's a free economy and it all works out in the end. Just don't go running to 'the man' to solve your problems.

dbomestar - Don't you even come close to playing the race card. Once you do you will open up a whole case on you. Especially when you don't know anything about the people you are talking to over the internet. You have no idea about us and we have no idea about you.

Poor english has nothing to do with race. But it does suck and a pain tolerate on an english-speaking website. But most people end up getting by it just fine because most people are pretty understanding.

I have a better suggestion: have a list of all the scammers out in the open so everyone will know they are not trusty and their work will be eliminated. Not everyone reads ALL the posts, even the experienced get scammed (as I saw here...).

It is pretty plain and simple.

New providers - need to give reviews to a trusted member, either free or pay after work is completed.

What is a trusted member?

Posts Count/iTrader/Time - is only part of it.

Someone who gives accurate reviews, someone that knows what to look for and if there are links to check look at them all, ScrapeBox helps.

Mods are a good choice for reviewers and/or members who have a history of giving accurate in dept reviews.

In some circumstances you cannot check the links as they they cannot be provided, you just report on what you see, check the in bounds later after/if they show up then come back to the thread and do an update.

If you don't know how to give a thorough review or do not have time, do not take it.

Providers need to understand that a in dept review takes time on our part as well, so it is a give and take thing. If you take a review and do not check it out fully and write some bullshit or do not complete it you should be banned.

I see so many worthless reviews, and the provider is just wasting their time, our time and forum space, as worthless reviews from worthless members = worthless.

In the end it is up to the provider to give the reviews, and it is up to us to keep them in check period end of story.

To all you douchbag newbs that pop up in new thread and ask for "free reviews" , I think you should encounter an instant ban. If the provider gives you a review it just shows there service must be shit to start with as they are idiots.

This will help reduce the amount of scams, it will not stop them fully.

I read a few posts of people that saying they have never been scammed. Your either not doing high volume or you have a lot of time on your hands.

I have been doing this for a bit now and you have to factor in getting scammed it is never fun no matter what amount of $ is involved.

I have been scammed big before and learned my lesson to never fork over large $, but the small amounts still piss me off and can be lessened if we all are on the same page.

I absolutely agree with everything you said. Some members even boost their post count with constant review requests. It's just anoying. I agree, members who are not giving accurate and detailed reviews should be banned, members who are review whores should be banned. I think if someone with 5-10 posts is asking around for free reviews it's clear sign this member is not productive member. Ok, I must say I am not very productive member for this forum, I am mostly on BST thread buying things but and I do understand that and this is why I don't ask review all ower the forum, in last year I asked for 2 reviews and got one.

I also agree that getting scamed is not fun at all no matter how big or small amount.

@to someone else - I will be a bit sneaky and say that someone who has itrader 3 and out of that 1 in 2010, no in 2009 can hardly understand the real current situation on BST part of this forum so please don't call out on us to grow a pair.

I just don't see why would there be a problem impementing few new small rules that will improve the quality of the SBT part of forum.

I am starting to see a lot of new providers bumping there thread over and over.

Erect has been taking heads off in full effect...

You might want to take a look at this thread it is being updated and the banning s are being done.

http://www.wickedfire.com/sell-buy-...-why-excessive-bumping-bad-your-sales-10.html

Also if your a newb and a review begger or giving shitty none descriptive reviews your being watched and reported to the thread as well your time here could come to an abrupt end.

Here is an example of a very detailed review....

This type of review help us the buyers and the provider to improve there service.. It is a win/win..

I just received the report and I must say that I am terribly disappointed with the report. In fact I will probably penalized for leaving too many foot prints.

Let me break down this honest review.

Before I proceed with the review, I would like to sincerely thank the OP for the discounted review package.

Timeliness of the service: Delivery date was right on time. About 3 weeks. I have no complaints here.

Content of the report: Major failure. Let me give specific examples.

After looking at the report in detail, I must say that the integrity of the diagram has been violated.

1. Squidoo page points to wrong page that I specified.

2. three keywords I provided, one of them was not correct.

3, tier 1 web properties do not point to squidoo page, but main page and secondary pages.

4. 3 videos are not present at the time of the delivery. flickr, bofunk, and vimeo.

5. Not all mentioned video sites on the digram have been utilized.

6. Articles submitted for the article marketing points to my main page and subpages, not squidoo according to the diagram.

7
. 8 out of 11 article directory are not listed on diagram. Very misleading.

8. 4 out of 5 tier 1 website are not listed on diagram. Very misleading.

9. 19 out of 26 web tier 2 properties are not listed on the diagram. Again, very misleading.

10
. Where is the report for the social bookmarking on tier 2?

11. Why are tier 2 web properties pointing to my main page and subpages. I thought they are suppose to point to tier 1 web properties.

Too many footprints...

I also pmed the OP my concern in hopes that this will be rectified. However, in its current form, I do not recommend this service.

Agreed. That is a great review. Nordie's reviews are also awesome.

They don't need to be white papers. They just need to be valuable to other buyers.

To new providers: be careful to whom you give free review copies. The only reason to give a free copy to a reviewer is to gain WF street cred. For that to happen, the review itself must be valuable. Don't know the difference between a good review and a bad review? Here are two examples:

Kickass review.

Bullshit review. (no offense to the poster, because he's a seasoned member. But c'mon!)

I"m not sure that the bullshit review deserves the title. There were not any problems. He was satisfied even pleased with the content.
I'd might even suspect he was trying to boost the guys business (no offense- you just can't win :-).

But I do certainly agree with the problem of worthless reviews. Mostly it appears to occur in the links & seo section maybe because I am there more. But as a problem I believe the majority of the money has been lost there with link building.

I'm just going to let new service offers percolate awhile before I buy. See what reviews come in.
I generally buy larger amounts and will continue but pay as percentage of job is completed with small down payment. Or just quarter or thirds of the amount for job completed.

This is a response to the complaint I filed with paypal against cutechuskay

Unfortunately, we were unable to resolve this claim in your favor because
the item purchased was virtual or intangible. As a result, we have not
taken any action against the seller at this time but we have noted your
dissatisfaction in the seller's record for future reference.

If you still have concerns about this transaction, we encourage you to
continue to work directly with the seller for an amicable resolution.

Geez JakeStratham......thanks man! I'd invite you for drinks, dinner, and a movie........but I think the wife wouldn't take too kindly to it. ;)

I always try to add a little extra "juice" to my reviews when possible. Whether its a positive review or a negative one (I left both kinds today).

That's why I'm always pissed when I see comments from "seasoned/senior" members like: "It's only an article, how am I supposed to leave more than a handful of words in review?", or "It's only 20 backlinks......what am I supposed to say about that"?

Considering you got a free review, you can say plenty that is worthwhile.

All you have to do is try.

I am sick of getting scammed, do not buy anything from a new provider until they have got a review from a trusted member.

Don't send them money before the review is posted period.

This will not guarantee they are not scammers but it will help.

If something sounds to good to be true, IT IS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We need to make new providers either give a free review to a trusted member OR the trusted member will pay after the work is completed.

I usually never pay a new provider up front, but just took a chance and got burned again.

Let not make this place a free for all for scammers, fuck that.

Keep this shit bumped!!!!!!!!!!

Nice thread zingo. I like the message. I am a service provider on WF however I look for services to purchase too and I certainly do not want get burnt.

I am also getting sick of these scammers..got scammed 3 times within a week!!
MODs have to start thinking about new policies to stop this forum from becoming a scammer heaven!
This dick wart will come back with another name the very next week to scam more....
Here is a suggestion..make the seller section a paid section. After paying for selling services, they have to provide a free review to one of the MODs. If approved, they should be able to sell their services. Believe me it will take out at least 90% of the scammers or crappy service providers from this forum!
These scammers have already taken away 50% of my thrill and excitement of being on this forum!

I LIKE THIS IDEA!!! Make it a paid section!!!
