NEW Facebook Ads

Has anyone seen the "you can't have more than 1000 ads across 250 campaigns, delete ads before creating any more new ones" message? Can this be changed?

What do you guys make of this e-mail i got today? Are they being helpful or is this their way of getting ready to ban me?

My name is Betty, and I'm an Account Development Specialist with Facebook Ads. I noticed that you joined us in the past couple months and I wanted to reach out to you and offer you some additional help and resources.

Below, I've included information that I thought you might find useful based on similar advertisers I've worked with in the past. I'll personally check in on your account each week for the next three weeks and send you additional resources, but feel free to contact me at any time by responding directly to this email.

Seeing Your Own Ad
The first instinct when many advertisers run their ads is to log into Facebook to actively look for their ads. While you may see your ads running if you're part of your own target group, there's no guarantee that you will. If you want to make sure your ad is running, you can simply check your Ads Manager to see if you are receiving impressions. If you do see impressions, you can be sure that your ad is running on the site.

Bidding
An important setting that you'll need to check on regularly is your CPM (cost per thousand impressions) or CPC (cost per click) bid. It's normal for the minimum bid that you need to get a good amount of traffic to change over time, so you'll want to make sure it's always high enough to get you impressions. If you're unsure of whether to use CPC or CPM bidding, check out this page: Help Center | Facebook.

Campaign/Ad Group Status
Along with checking on the amount of clicks and impressions that your ads are receiving, the ad group and campaign statuses in your account are also an important factor. These statuses are visible next to the names of our ad groups and campaigns in the Ads Manager. You'll see the following four statuses:
-Completed: Your ad's scheduled end date has passed and the ad is no longer running.
-Paused: Your ads are not running, but you can start them at any time.
-Active: Your ads are eligible to run on Facebook -Pending Review: Your ads are awaiting review from the Facebook Ads Team.

A picture is worth a thousand words, especially with your Facebook Ads. Make sure to use relevant and compelling images that directly related to the product/service you are promoting. We find images that are eye catching and speak directly to your audience can help significantly with performance.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Thanks,

Betty

Got the exact same one yesterday myself. A ban is pretty much inevitable in your future, so prepare accordingly.
