NEW Facebook Ads

It shows my CPC for the "Price" label. Maybe its different depending on if your using CPM or CPC.

For instance, I will resume a campaign, then a few minutes later it looks like the campaign was never resumed.

Experiencing VERY similar problems over the last 24 hours. Went to pause ads before bedtime and they wouldn't pause. Then I refreshed and they were paused. Now, I'm looking at the dashboard and they're active BUT the spend of the day is $0.00!

I emailed them about that problem and they blamed it on cookies or cache, which isn't the problem. I might email them again if I get the time.

Also, I just saw it said that the new interface will be on all accounts May 25.

Guys - another question:

Any of you ever had an ad with a high CTR that just stops getting impressions, or they just come REALLY REALLY slowly? If so, do you know how to ramp them back up?

Tell them they should make the ads interface customizable. Like if I want impressions, clicks, cpc, ctr, average price, total spend all on one page, then I should be able to select those and save that format.

Like Google Adwords :p

Tell them the even distribution sucks balls when you're trying to get traffic in a completely different time zone.

I've been having this problem for the last week. I fixed my problem by starting with a high CPC bid to get impressions, and then working my bid down as Facebook's suggested bid drops.

Is your target audience large enough to sustain impressions, especially if your CTR is high? I've also found the amount of ads in your campaign can effect your impressions, especially if you duplicate... Just my thoughts.

tell them if they implement a frequency cap, they will destroy Google
the new interface sucks donkey balls but a frequency cap would make it all worth it.
pretty much facebook needs to

I have 2 ads where the only difference is the copy. One runs at 0.175% CTR and the other at 0.4%+ (as high as 0.7%) CTR. Actual cpc's vary hugely between the two

The thing I realized is that you can't sell an offer in a dinky Facebook ad and you're losing alot of clicks simply by mentioning what youre gonna try to sell them when they click through. get people to click and then let your lander do ALL the selling ;)

Since headline/copy accounts for 30%ish of the ad CTR, don't discount it and keep hunting for images

Bang.

The whole new interface was definitely not designed with affiliates in mind. If you run CPM, you have to get a report to find out an ads' CPC. Weak. After having the new interface for a few days I hate it. It's also EXTREMELY slow. I haven't tested it with Chrome yet, but in Firefox it sucks with more than a few tabs open. The only thing I like about it is the new Reach graph.

The new interface is a major downgrade. Requires way more clicks and harder to see multiple ads at a glance.

To figure out CPM, run one ad per campaigns. Then take cost/clicks.

WTF would Facebook spend time "upgrading" the interface only to make it worse? Complete horseshit.

I really miss the individual Ad screen that displays the hard and fast facts for the ad for that day and each previous day of the week. Now when your in ad view you can only see one day's worth and then when you refresh the page and it reverts back to averaging the past 7 days, so annoying.

The only substantial improvement I'm seeing is the frequency stat, it's interesting to know how many times each peep sees your ad.
