NEW Facebook Ads

Crazy to see affiliates continue to purchase accounts lol - there's a TON of opportunity outside of Facebook guys...

PM me those who have done well w/ Facebook ads and want to stay hitting display traffic.

I know so many people that use Facebook as their bread and butter that they don't touch any other traffic sources at all. They have gotten too comfortable with it, once you realize the effective bidding strategies and phrases that work; it's a cash cow. Enough said.

Anyone ever have their personal account disabled along with your ads account?

Yep, myself.

If you got your personal account disabled as well, it's strong message from them letting you know that they do not want you back on their system.

I seem to be having a retard moment, as I've done this before, but I cant find where to create an account under an international currency. Where the fuck is the option?

Also, I want to create a separate account to run campaigns for a client. This appears to be against the TOS (1 account per individual, although previously I got permission by emailing them for my own accounts). You can't even create a business account if you have a personal one. I usually have all my campaigns under my own accounts, but this one is different, I want to keep it separate.

How do people go about this?
The client has their personal account already. Obviously getting access to their personal account is not ideal. Do they need to create the advertising account under their account and then grant me access just to the advertising account? Is this even possible?
Facebook's help pages are frigging useless in this regard. I can't even find a contact form to ask them about this, the one I used previously has disappeared.

Nevermind, think I'm sorted. For the currency I needed to go through the full ad creation process. And Facebook support just told me to go ahead and create a Business account.. which involves creating a 'dummy ad' as a step -now thats retarded.

anyone getting this when they create ads....

The content of your ad does not adequately reflect the product or service advertised. Before resubmitting it, please visit our Help Center for additional information and examples compliant with our Advertising Guidelines.

FYI i am advertising men who like women who are single and the offer name is in the ad so I am following their guidelines..... anyone else getting denied fucked like me?

yes, facebook ads are getting more and more conservative regarding images, particularly in the dating niche. dating is the single handed most saturated niche on facebook traffic right now. i can say this for a fact, i spoke with a rep on the phone a few weeks ago, did one of those q and a sessions. once i mentioned dating the convo flipped and they got all strict and by the book.

regarding the images, you have to think psychologically. there may not be blatant cleavage, or lots of skin, but if one of your girls has a "fuck me face," pressing her tongue against the inside of her lip, or doing something else suggestive, they will slap this denial reason, or the image reason, and deny it.

ill give you a little secret, upload batches of image, by hand or by script/tool. slip in a risque image in there that you think will get a good ctr and will convert and if it slips past, you might have yourself a winning campaign for a month or 2. (many will differ on this)

good luck! keep the thread alive :-)

^^^ I think it worse than just images after I made the post I used a pic that was not sexually suggestive at all and typed in VARIOUS ad copy and they pretty much want to see a generic thing that says "you can find somone with a dating site that i am promoting try it by signing up" <------ semi sarcastic but pretty much they want ad copy that shitty can't be as creative with it seems like specially over the last few weeks

I was waiting for them to implement something like this. As seolinker said, a redirect domain will probably work. But not for long.

Bulk info domain registration exists for this.

Make sure you use a pass-through (not sure if that's the right term) redirection and not just standard 301 or whatever. (This plugin offers the functionality I'm referring to: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/redirection/.)

Just got the $2000 daily spent limit increase too, I spent almost nothing the last two weeks...weird

Hey guys - any tips for promoting biz-op offers? Looking to promote an investing type product.

I'm thinking older demographic would work best.. any quick thoughts?

Still looking for FB accounts with a spend limit of $2k or more. I'll pay the daily limit of the account for them.

PM me if you have any

1. get ad approved, run some traffic
2. get ad disapproved by faggot moderator
3. submit ad again
4. repeat 3. until it gets approved, resume at 1.

so this is how it works?
