Last Friday, MSN shut down a bunch of accounts for "billing issues". Up until today, customer support claimed that there was a systemic problem and that they were working to resolve it. Today, they let it be known that it was due to the FTC, and that the accounts were being permanently disabled for running grants.

I wasn't one of the guys pushing the envelope with Obama, and stimulus checks, etc so I kept probing and probing, and was finally told that my ad copy, keywords and LP were fine, but that one of the offers wasn't, and since I linked to it - my account was banned. They of course wouldn't tell me which offer, and told me I was free to open another account with a different credit card.

Anyway, I'm sure I'm not the only one that has been wondering what fucking "billing issue", so there you have it.

FTC - 1
Me - 0

Happened to me too, except my grants campaign has been paused forever and I can't even remember if it got any traffic when I did run it.

They only told me it was a billing issue, so I was wondering what the hell was going on.

Guess I'll have to open a new account.

I had the same thing happen here. Already had another account with MSN on the same billing info and its running. Not sure how long it will run for tho.

Funny enough a quick search reveals a lot of affiliates still running grants on MSN, so I wonder what their breaking point is.

Same shit happened to me. My Grants site was an opt-in format, where they would have no idea about the offer unless they actually singed up via email. It was paused for months though, so not sure why they would kill accounts because of that.

Same thing here. Opt-in style.

All of you guys are going to Gitmo and Cheney is going to hook your balls up to a light socket, and then play

CLAP ON, CLAP OFF, CLAP ON, CLAP OFF, THE SLAMMER.

same shit here, these adcenter retards at least should be send a warning o something before shut down the entire account

Weird, I looked at mine I had running and it was also an aweber opt-in site. I canceled that aweber account so I'm guessing if they checked within the last week or two they wouldn't have gotten any autoresponder message.

Doesn't make much sense but whatever.

have a 2nd MSN account up, now getting MSN-HRS visits for every keyword i have, coming from seemingly residential IP's too (but 202 is flagging them bc the same ips are clicking basically every keyword)...
