More adwords bans coming tonight and tomorrow..

Is it salt in the wound...or just a sign that Google is not as sophisticated as we take them to be?

...I just got an email (after I've been banned mind you) showing my campaign performance for November with tips to optimize for the coming months.

"Hello, At Google we believe information is the key to success, and so to help you understand the value of your AdWords account you'll find a brief report below detailing your account statistics for November. This gives you a chance to look at how you are doing and to see if you're meeting your business goals"

You'd think there'd be a system in place that says "dont send newsletters and tips emails to banned accounts". Maybe there is hope to somehow slip through the cracks again.
They sent an optimization to my live, linked account in my MCC where I ported my legit campaigns from my legit banned account, on one of the same campaigns I had been running in the banned account. Guess that reviewer didn't find anything wrong with my account...

Can google track AFF IDs? I can encrypt mine with CJ but some of my other merchants I can not. Gotta new account and was gonna run it. Would hate to get fucked again.

OK cool man. Will see how tonight goes. One thing I learned from this bullshit is:

A) Never rely on one source of traffic
B) Build a fucking list so you have a backend
C) Stay in compliance

I made more money in CPS than CPA by far.

Of course the email that I was told to email to appeal the suspension doesn't actually exist on their servers, and I've Facebook/LinkedIn stalked to find someone with the first name and last initial of the support rep who works at Google (to get a direct line to her from the company directory), but that's failed. Hopefully my account number still gets me to a rep on the phone. I'd rather have this thing reviewed, than banned, even if I have the campaigns up and running again.

I set up a test ad on a whitehat website to see if it will work. Hmmm ... a few hours later and no impressions. Will see in the morning. There's a chance the new account is under review for verification purposes.

This a new adwords account?

Disabled reason is "thin bridge page", when it's a direct, tracking link. Going through the process to redefine it as a "tracking link" from an "agency using standard tracking systems available" rather than an affiliate link, let's see if this works.

i really really don't think they track affids. In theory it'd be smart for them, but the probability is pretty low, especially considering how hard it would be to do. There is just so many links, with so many numbers and variables in it; it'd be hard to determine what the affilate ID would actually be, not to mention they would have to go through the landing page (if it wasnt a direct link) and peel the affilate links out of it.

Someone at Google needs to learn that a direct product page on a merchant's site or a signup form on a merchant's site are not bridge pages. Plain & simple, Google has idiots (or broken algorithms) making these determinations.

Mine is working. Now I need a private proxy set up. Can't stand this POS netbook I bought.

How did you do it exactly? The standard process we all know is: new LLC, new address/PO Box, new ISP, new PC. Did you do anything different apart from this? Thanks
