You can use a mouse/keyboard for Unreal Tournament 3 for PS3 iirc. I know there is something that's similar to and keyboad (SplitFish Gameware <---- this), but I have no idea how well it works.

It takes getting used to. I swore I would never play FPS on a console but once I got the hang of it it's the same shit. Obviously your skill level won't be like KB+Mouse but you're playing against others with controllers anyway so it's a level playing field.
I've played FPS on the PC since like Duke Nukem so I was really stuck on the kb/mouse thing but seriously once you get the hang of the controller it's just as fun. Oh and you don't have to upgrade your vid card as soon as a new game comes out haha
There is one for PS3 it's called the FragFX and should work with any game since it simulates a real controller so the game doesn't have to support it. A friend of mine has it and says he likes it over the controller though I never tried it. Personally I think it's gay, kinda like bringing a gun to a knife fight. If I was to get that then might as well play on the PC.
Oh and COD2 is insane.
Is this really worth the hype... I mean I have COD:World at War and it just collects dust.. so what is the difference here?
World at War sucks balls and was not made by the same company. I take it you never played modern warfare 1? If you have and didn't like it then no sense of getting 2 but if you never did play it and only tried World at War then you're in for a treat.

Most of the MW maps are truly shoebox maps. The MW2 seem a bit bigger, but are still too small IMO, and have a lot more elevated positions. They are an improvement though.
I have to say those Bad Company vids look pretty damn good. I've never played any of the Battlefield games.

Here's my question... Does the online gameplay for the ps3 offer some kind of beginner level or something? Because I've only played a few first person shooters in my life (and never online)... It's not even fun for me to play online. I log in, select deathmatch, die about 15 times with 0 kills, rinse, repeat.
