It's awesome, tho i got bored after a few missions. Maybe i wasn't in the mood but the game is a badass.
It looks great but they fucked over the PC version hardcore. I am unwilling to pay $60 just to play the first person on my ps3 or xbox. I don't even consider it to have mutiplayer since its a console fps. Most all of them are gimped to hell since joystick aiming is retarded.

Nope. I played it on the PS3 and it was not what I expected. I wanted it to be so much more. Well i played this game yesterday and i m not liking it at all, looking at the previous MW this game is certainly downgraded i don't see much of an improvement in this MW2 also campaign shortness suxxxxxx and the Most worst part i came across is the blood splatter on the face if were hit by the bullet once, man that blood splatter so pissed me off, the main problem with the blood splatter is that it covers the entire screen and u cant even see properly where to go to hide your self so that u can revive your health.
And for the game reviewers Graphics 10..... a freaking 10 to this kind of graphics then i bet uncharted 1 would be like 20 on the same scale and uncharted 2 scores would be off the roof in terms of graphics. Since this is a FPS look at Killzone2 what will u give that in terms of graphics???
MW was released in Nov 2007 well if they have released this game at the time World at War was released this would have been a massive hit since is not much on the SP front and not much improve on the MP front either.
Bottom line this is a must buy for the Xbox 360 owners becaue they dont have any other shooter to look forward to till next march(BFBC2)
For PS3 owners i would suggest try getting your hands on BFBC2 beta codes and trust me even if its a beta its gonna be more worth than this.

but to be honest, dedicated servers could work...if we were in korea. tbh, you really need <50ms to have a solid game, otherwise it's too easy to wonder if you actually missed the shot, or if it was because of someones ping.
The blood splatter pisses me off too. I can't complain about the graphics though, shit is nice.
Well, I put in about 7 hours last night after I finally got it installed.
This game kicks some major ass. The graphics on the PC, with everything maxed out are simply amazing. The lighting and shadows and textures are superb. This is DX9 on XP too. I'd like to get Win7 installed to see how it looks under DX10.
Game play is pretty tight. I don't know how far through the campaign I am, but it has a decent story and fun missions. I'm sure I'll be disappointed by its shortness as with most games these days, but so far so good.
Multiplayer is loads of fun though the whole matchup system is pretty gay. I'll have to give it a few more days of play to truly judge it but so far it's tolerable. Hopefully they see the light an change their minds about the server issues.

Over all I think you would be missing out not to grab this title if you prefer your FPS games on the PC. There might be others out there and others coming but this is a pretty great offering despite its shortcomings.
You must be having a laugh. If you are into budget no name CS clones that look like they were made in 2003 then I guess you might have a point. The graphics in both of those can't even compare to MW2, or even MW1... which I would suggest you stick with if you don't want to try MW2 until something else comes out.

I bought a PS3 a few months ago to just use as a blu-ray player thinking I'm over the whole video game thing. I saw, literally, dozens of boxes of these games stacked at Walmart yesterday so I figured I'd pick one up. It's so sick. It's so realistic its frightening. My first time playing a FPS since the Half-Life/CS/TFC days. Can't wait to start multiplayer!
I've played every COD on PC multiplayer, so even though all the BS that surrounded MW2 for PC, I bought it anyhow.. I got to rank 18 yesterday and so far, it's not as bad as most people make it out to be.
Yeah, it sucks that they took out a # ping and replaced it with retarded cellphone-like greenbars.
Yeah, it sucks that you have to reach rank 19 before you can play S&D HC.
Yeah, it sucks that S&D matches end after only 4 round wins.
But other than that, it was still pretty fun.
