Thanks for the feedback TigerUK but let me clarify. I'm not trying or concerned with having the profile links appear in yahoo's link explorer as backlinks. I'm just trying to get them indexed. Meaning if you type in the url into google, the profile link page will appear in the search results. That's the only way I know of to confirm that Google actually see's and has indexed the page. Without that all those links are doing jack for your rankings. And I'm totally aware you need tons of profile links to, to have a good effect but again I'm just testing methods to find the best way to get indexed.

I've used other methods and many more of the links actually got indexed than my 1st test with this tool. So I'm trying to see if there is something wrong or is everyone here mistaken with the power of this tool. Let me know. Thanks

I honestly can;'t answer your question, all I can say is that the pinging works as far as forwarding the url to search engines.. it maybe the more of an issue with the content that is being pinged rather than pinging itself, in this case.

Ok, so I bought a copy of Windows 7 and installed it. MegaPinger works great. If you're trying to run it on WinXP and having trouble, don't waste your time...

What's so damn hard about reading the manual? I'm sure your problem had something to do with not having this installed:

i know it already comes with a list and it is completely editable... but do we get an updated list of ping sites every so often?

teguh, it can ping any number of links, given enough time.

The list of worthwhile sites to ping stays pretty static, so I haven't been providing updated lists.

I'm willing to purchase that product, as all these posts make it look great, and it's really affordable for what it has to offer. Could some of you guys (Matt maybe) tell me where I could find guidance/advice for a good start in BH SEO ? The kind of info I'm looking for is basically what to buy but also what proxies to use, and whatever a noob may need.
Maybe one of you guys has a blog about that ?

Okay I bought the product. In how many computers I can run the program? Also what about if we want to change computers.

I am running it on one of my computer while it should have been on my servers instead.

On windows 2008 server I got this message though:
the application have failed to start because its side by side configuration is incorrect.

For $27 it's still an awesome product considering that I can run these on lots of computers.

Also another feedback would be to take ping lists from a text file rather than textbox.
