Relevant to the railbirds that have asked. Crime can be an edge. I don't want to make the tired moral argument against fucking ppl and corps over... yawn. I despise scammers, but at least show some pride of ownership and do it right.
All comms through many hops. Look at how long it took the Feds to locate DPR and all he was using was TOR. His early posts to usenet and web-boards is what brought him down--nothing in which he was actively engaged.
My dad left govt and went into import-export with the connections made at the State Dept. He wasn't importing Pokemon (Be, rare earth stuff, weapons). I certainly thought it was amoral when I was old enough to understand, but I certainly admired the complexity of the shit he was pulling--all before the internet-age.
So yeah, I would absolutely punch a hole in this clown's chest. If not simply for the abject stupidity of the mechanics of the scam.

IIRC poopie was not a member of WF until this thread and this is his main WF account. He is drownpruf from Elite Trader and he came here when Grunin tried doing his $100k challenge on ET.
The guy owes me $100K. I take all prop bets and wagers seriously. Not only did he fail, but I posted my signed (by a partner in a major CPA firm) 1040 showing 1.3MM even after it was clear that he would not do the same. And no, I do not have any other accounts at WF.

This. Whoever referred him needs to be outed and made fun of. Martin doesn't deserve all the blame on that one.
Grunin contacted BRC. They had been working on some site together. Someone from here posted a question to BRC's youtube and BRC responded with a link to the site--the site had been up for some time (vetted by web.archive.org). The vid was taken down (or his page, can't recall).
