Making money with Google Adsense

I was checking out Prosperent and I may be a retard but I don't see an SSL being used on the sign up page or the the affiliate dashboard. You may want to get that fixed if people are going to want to put in their social or tax id, ect.

It's EARLY invite only beta.

I was kind of sketched by that as well, but then I was like, "Fuckit, Cakes already has my IP, what have I got to lose?"

Seriously tho, custom ad sizing please? None of the sizes work well in the sidebar of four different WP themes I tried. The skyscraper layout push other content below the fold. And manually changing the width in the code just cuts of more ad content.

Thnx!

I've already mentioned it to the guys to sort out some more flexible ad options.

Admittedly I've been a bit lazy getting round to setting up some Prospernet ads. However I just logged in to see $98 in my balance from 119 clicks. I've only had it up a couple days (it's actually not even up right now as I tweak my landing page).

For me, I'm Prospernet is additional content on my landing page, to compliment the main product I'm promoting. So I've already made just shy of $100 income that I otherwise wouldn't of had.

Give it a try guys!

I think what we are going to do is offer an XML version of the ads that will allow you to style and integrate the ads anyway you want. We have pretty much all of the standard ad formats that the IAB has defined (as well as link units and a few others). BUT, the XML offering will round that out and give you guys flexibility.

The cool thing about prosperent ads is the fact that you are encouraged to integrate them deeply into content. Adsense and most other networks that pay on a per click basis require a pixel border or some sort of clear label defining the ads as sponsored links. Click fraud isn't a possibility with our ads, so integrate them as deeply as possible.

Also take note that you can turn on and off the different ad elements. If you just want text links with an image, you can turn off the other elements. You can also define the text used for the "buy now" link if you wish to have that enabled.

I had to chime in here and Give the Prosperent crew some more love, i have been working with the guys over there since 2007 and they are on Top of their game. Not only have their coding skills made a bunch of us ALOT of money, but this new Ad Platform is killing it for alot of us who got to play with it during early Beta.

Its run by Solid Guys, who seriously know their shit.

I have an authority site in health niche that had top rankings for some nice keywords, till Google decided to put Shopping box and AdWords expandable product ads in the middle of SERPs and re-rank the hell out of everyone. Most of the traffic hit came in the last few months and seems this is just the beginning of the algorithm shake-up coming this year.

Same thing happened to me in a few different niches. Google Onebox is killing me.

Added challenge is that there are many types of Oneboxes each with their own rules for appearing in SERPs and ranking results.

Have you done anything specific to get into Onebox? What has worked and what has not?

I am still trying to figure out where to focus my efforts.

Glad to see that others are still doing well with Adsense. Most of you probably know from some of my threads that Adsense is how I make most of my money, and it amounts to 70% of my monthly income. I laugh when I see others say "adsense is dead" or "you can't make money from Adsense". Sure, it might not be the best way to monetize every site, but if you have a high traffic site in a decent niche, there's no reason you can't make $10,000+ a month from it.

I totally agree with cousinvinnie. I was banned by Adsense but I make money with Prosperent. My average commission is around $10-30. Waiting for my first $100+ click. :338:

Did somebody say Prosperent?! I've heard from a number of users on the platform who are raking in large amounts of cash. Adsense just can't compare!

Whats with you one post fuckers? Prosperent sounds promising, without the shilling if that's what this is (I'm giving 7-to-3 odds for anybody that wants my action), Andrew and a few other members of the community are trying it out. At this point true fans that happen to be new to WF are going to start doing more harm than good, lay off the props and let the service speak for itself.

Prosperent is awesome, converts much better in terms of clicks as with Adsense and AFAIK the cookie lasts for much longer than just 30 days. I've made more with Prosperent in the last 2 months than the last year with Adsense... ;)

I didn't know who Prosperent was before this thread. I'm disinclined to use the service.

Sock puppet accounts flop so hard here. (Anywhere, really.)

mmmm, children :). Sorry for the noobs guys, I posted the wickedfire thread on our forums so those that are using it could offer some feedback here as well. Didn't know it was going to turn out like that :). Anyhow, continue to pm me if you have any questions. I appreciate the feedback we have received up to this point. We're going to work on a few of the suggestions for the live site over the coming days. HOPEFULLY, if all goes well we will leave beta in the next couple weeks. We need to finish up the rest of the reporting side, ssl, TOS, that sort of stuff.
