Lucid Dreaming

I've been doing it off and on since I was a kid, but it seems like it happened a lot more when I was a kid.

As far as "reality checks", my basic rule is if I'm trying to figure out whether or not I am dreaming, then yes, obviously it's a fucking dream.

Flying has always been easy, I don't even have to try that hard. But I don't have much control over anything else.

And as someone else mentioned, when you want to wake up from a dream, all you have to do is close your eyes in the dream. That's always worked for me.

I've never read about lucid dreaming and don't have any education about it other than my own personal experience.

Right guys, I've really into lucid dreaming/obe/astral projection. Just not had time to do in depth posts of my experiences.

Recently I am testing out supplements combined with WBTB method. The other day used galantamine. Found hard to get back to sleep so took L-theanine. Eventually I felt vibrations and grawling next to my ear as well as some being holding onto my hand. Later transitioned into a dream (rather amusing sexual one) but did not become lucid. If I did not fall asleep I would have probably have got a WILD.

Tonight, I'm giving it another go, but adding Choline Bitartrate into the mix which should help with the trigger by stimulating the acetylcholine production.

I always have these dreams where I think I'm awake because I can see the room around me but I'm paralyzed and and I can't talk or yell for help. Scary as shit. After a few minutes of this I finally "wake up" and realize it was all just a dream.

Sleep paralysis. Mind is awake while body is asleep

Just keeping a dream journal seems to increase my occurrence of lucid dreams. I learned to just be content with being aware that I'm dreaming. After awhile of just being happy with that initial lucidity, I was able to add some flying and basic control into the mix. As a bonus, although I haven't had sex in a lucid dream, I now find that sex in normal dreams doesn't lead to me waking up pre-maturely.

Also, just took 6mg of Melatonin while reading this thread. 'night!

dreamt i had exams coming up, and then i thought 'wtf do i have exams for, i have finished my studies in real life'. So realised i'm in a dream. As soon as I realise this, i come out of the dream and see my closed eyelids. Been getting this recently when I know i am dreaming, not what I want at all.

yesterday had a great experience. really long dream. Eventually i became lucid, when i was suffocating underwater in a power stream. when i realized i could breath under water when i can't hold my breath anymore, i knew i was dreaming. Then i was in this corridor leading to a large high ceiling room. Recently i was finding that when i realize i am dreaming, i end up seeing my eyelids. So in order to stabilize the dream I did some things

There were 2 models of real life stuffed animals on the side of the corridor. One was a hare, and i focus on that. Hare then became very detailed. Next i looked at my hands. They were see through, like the how predator's invisibility cloak is see through. Next i looked at the floor. It was white tiles. So i jumped up and down while looking at it. This all helped with stability and vividness. So next i went to large room and decided to doing some flying and somersalts, it was fun. i didn't use the wbtb for this one, i used 5htp before bed for REM rebound. also something interesting happened after doing those stability stuff. i opened my eyes. In the dream i felt the sensation of opening my eyes. not that my dream eyes were closed. just opening my eyes while my dream eyes were open anyway. Imagine your eyes are already open yet you feel them open them again. weird.
