We are looking at a whole new approach to selling ebooks. I'm in, where do I signup to be in the next "Affiliate Idol"?

Alright, let's cut the kid some slack. He's no different than 95% of us here. He's just trying to make money. Sure, it's with a ebook...whatever. Rather than bash his methods, why not offer some constructive advice. Like "hey, why not try this <!-- insert idea here -->" and back it up with examples, links to worthwhile sources, etc.

As other have pointed out, he has the right attitude and drive to succeed. He seems to have fairly thick skin to take the shit we're dishing out, and he also seems willing to work hard to make that cash. Last, if the story about his mother is true, he is doing if for far more altruistic reasons than most of us here.

Yeah, I'm sticking up for the ebook guy, but only because I think he's proved that he has the necessary attitude to make it in the online world.
 
Agreed - ok kid, take a stab at making something professional and get some video editing software.. even if it's a 30 day free trial and loose the full body shot.

Retake the video several times and try and pick out the best one. Don't rush as it's not going to help.

Put some real thought into this one and keep in mind your using your own face, name etc.. people will hunt you down for those cookies!

Now, create a real affiliate program for it and place a link so others can tap into that fountain of youth talent you got there so we all can bank on it :D

Don't burn people as that will always catch up to you.

You never know.

I wrote a post and somehow I deleted it by accident so i just said what the hell. I also didn't want to be the first to make a statement. I think the kid is doing more than probably most of the people who were commenting and ragging on him.
I am of the opinion that he is doing something! He is taking action. I think that what he will learn from this is, he goes back. He redoes the video, takes out the one or two mistakes, or gets someone to stand in for him and he cleans up.
 
I want to know how many copies you sold... Not gave away for free. How many did you actually sell?
 
I dont care what you do just start using some damn full stops and paragraphs..... in your typing and in your speech!

Fucking wrong attitude here. I stand by what I said though...if you stick around here and learn the best way to do things you will go far. Especially if you get past the "I'm 18 and am doing way better then everyone of my friends" stage. Because, buddy you have no clue.

You remind me of lt1ndr (Andy) our very own "worseless" inventor. He was hated a lot when he first come on here, and pretty much acted like a douche. He stuck out the verbal abuse though, learned from his mistakes, and turned into a valuable forum member who most of us have a soft spot for.* He also makes money. A hell of a lot more money than most people his age.

*Lemonaden likes jailbait, so maybe he has a hard spot instead. J/K Lemon :)
 
Yes although I have been ragging on this dude from the beginning... i'll bite and say he does have some balls... even though his intentions are far misguided he should be banned from the internet for 6 months.

i went to film to film school, so I could give you a few tips on shooting a new video with some legitimate production quality... but that's not the direction you should be going in, so I'll refrain.

sounds good man my IM S/n is in this thread, the video was my first time using Adobe Premiere, I also have After Effects so I can work in there too....
