LoL Hydra LoL

Ok one last thing then i will shut up for awhile and watch the flames fly...

Why do you even care if you were deactivated from a network YOU have chosen not to do business with?

What? Just because we didn't send traffic to Hydra for the past 2 months doesn't mean we have chosen not to do business with you guys.

My account is still live, but I expect to be kicked out any day now because of low volume. If it happens, I'm going to stop wearing that fetching dragon cap, Mason!

The very minimum from Hydra would be to notify people on their discontinued status, but I have little optimism that will happen.

One thing I don't understand is why Hydra spends thousands on attending trade shows several times yearly in an effort to sign up affiliates, and then kicks out affiliates they signed up.

Wouldn't it be smarter to pay more attention to affiliates who are running low/no volume and encourage them to ramp it up by giving more TLC to them? You are purposely making the network a diminished player in a crowded market.

I'm going to pull the links running now because I no longer trust them.

Horrible policy imo. Look, they deactivated 3 people so far in this thread that could most likely push a ton of quality traffic.

Nice work Hydra!

Networks also inactivate accounts that are inactive to cut down on fraud. Usually the accounts being sold out there are ones sitting dormant for years, the network approves one person who later sells it to someone else who runs an offer that good pubs are on, sends shit and ruins it for everyone. I would be cautious of those networks who dont do some deactivating as a fraud control measure. They are risking offers for the good pubs and souring the taste of CPA for advertisers

Wonder if they are getting a ton of sign ups as well because of the 'exclusivity' aspect?

We want more brand friendly networks to cover up the blemishes of our industry recently. I think this is also good for those businesses / individuals who are actually in this for the long term.

This is a great channel that more brands should be using if the quality / fraud can be controlled. Best of luck Hydra.

I'm just impressed by their consistency of making ridiculously retarded decisions.

lmfao @ urinal pic

QUICK, ALL THE HIGH VOLUME PUBS RUSH TO WORK WITH HYDRA CAUSE THEY'RE SO EXCLUSIVE. Or better yet, how about we just run stuff on networks that want to work with us since all your offers are probably on hundreds of other networks anyway.

ROFL Classic, I had this very experience in Vegas for ASW when some asshat bypassed 20 urinals to cozy up next to me...very poor form

Just checked my account and it was deactivated as well. Sucks, as I actually liked Hydra and chose to run offers through them when I could. My favorite part of the message was the last half where they're like "Hey, when you're finally a baller shoot us a message, we'd LOVE to work with you!" Oh man, that's fuckin' rich. Let me see... who do I want to spend my money with? Oh, how about that network that kicked my ass to the curb when I was starting out!! Yeah, that's the one for me!!

being an affiliate id want to rip them to pieces. i have multiple inactive accounts that i used to use, and even when i was driving traffic a few were inactive. it was nice to have backup networks if you didnt like the offers that one had.

being an advertiser this is awesome. quality = $$$. mason, contact me if you are looking for a new health advertiser

Mason, c'mon dude. I know you're trying to think of this from a pure numbers standpoint but you have no clue. I'm sure every network would love to have what you think you can build, a fuck off and die unless you make a billion dollars a month network. I can understand from a fraud standpoint why you don't wanna maintain a shitload of inactive accounts. But peep this: when I ran traffic 6 months ago, I sent a few days worth of traffic which generated around $4K in leads or so. You guys essentially took that as my entire years earnings (as probably an affiliate making $11 per day baller status) and classified me as a jack shit producer. That to me is pure fail on your part.

I'll give you another simple scenario of why I haven't run traffic with you guys in a while. I personally like to concentrate on a few niches at a time and not spread myself thin with too many things going at once. Basically if I find a winner, I scale the shit out of it. So let's say my last two niches were Dating and Toolbar Downloads (hypothetically), and I've run that shit heavy for at least a few months. Your network is not known for the best selection of either of those niches. Sure I may split an offer or two, but when you are running with networks who are hungry for your traffic and will bend over backwards to get it, then I'm always gonna be loyal to them.

But when I get around to testing Gevalia coffee offers, then then I'll be sure to hit you guys up.
