guerilla,

Just bought LFE via your link. Waiting on the paypal to go through, and for them to send me the DL link, and then i'll hit you up if i have questions?

Purchased LFE through your link a few days ago.

I noticed on the sales page that it said it can be run from a computer instead of putting it on a domain.

I don't see any instructions on how to set that up though or have I misunderstood?

I'd like to know the differences between running it on a server and my own computer.

I can't pm cause I don't have enough posts but let me know if you need information to prove that I purchased through your link.

netipot, I will contact you by PM when you get PM capability.

In the meantime, you can check the bottom of the FAQ

WAMP/MAMP

My recommendation is to run remote if you want to run hard, but for the purposes of getting started, trying out the software or working modestly, then working local is ok.

Where do you all get your articles for LFE from?

I would like to load LFE with sentence-level spin articles, but none of my usual writers want to write such stuff :(

Phixx, if you're one of my guys, can you PM me your payment email address? If you're not, since this thread isn't heavily trafficked by others LFE users, you should definitely try the LFE board.

Sorry if you are one of my guys and I don't recognize you. I looked through my PMs and couldn't find any correspondence between us.

Not one of your guys yet... but I probably will be if/when I find a few writers that can handle sentence-level spin articles for a good price.

Most bloggers do not write articles. Most blog posts are not articles.

I see lots of people struggle trying to come up with content because they want to have a massive article network, not a blog farm.

Blog posts may only be about 200 words and a pic. Maybe a couple pics.

It is easy to create some kickass spins in about half an hour which will generate enough posts for a couple hundred blogs.

But even if you want to outsource the spin work, it is a lot easier to get 200 word blurbs spun than 500 word articles spun.

That ^^ is 100 words. Slap an image above and/or below, and that's a blog post. There is no need to overthink this stuff.

Totally agree, but judging from the amount of stuff I "publish", I would prefer not to do it all myself.

Do you have some guys you can recommend when I buy through your link? (and what's their average price/turnaround time?)

Okay, I'll just run remote.

I got your pm and tried to reply but got an error saying your box was too full and that I can't reply until you lighten your pm box.

Quick question...

If I wanted to create multiple wordpress blogs at once, would this software do this, or would I have to use it to make each one individually?

Also, can I upload a plugin to all blogs (wordpress) while it installs? - I mean, a standard wordpress plugin.

And, can I upload a specific theme too?

This does not install Wordpress, allow you to specify particular themes, or to install plugins.

It allows you to create Wordpress blogs on Wordpress Multiuser (mu) hosts, to randomize the template and post to the blog, manage the blogroll etc.

You can also import your own already setup WP blogs and post to them from LFE.

But it is not a WP installer/configurator.

Would it be stupid to setup LFE on a webhosting account that contain some of my sites?

i.e. should I buy a new webhosting account just for LFE?

What kind of hosting requirement are needed for LFE?

Could this be hosted on a typical Hostgator account, or would something additional/special be needed?

$10 a month hostgator will work as far as I know. It does depend on what you are doing, and at what volume. Obviously cheaper hosting does not support super aggressive usage or exceptionally shady content.

Feel free to PM me if you have more questions.

Hi there,

I'm looking at buying LFE as an alternative to my current SENuke subscription.
I know it's not a replacement for SENuke but I've got a few questions:

Do I need separate hosting to run lfe?
Do I need to have proxies to run it?
what's the 'stick rate' for wmpu bogs - they're notoriously transient aren't they?
what's the 'stick rate' for blogger blogs?
What kind of start-off support would I get if I bought it ... do you help with strategy?

Thanks in advance,
Mark.
