Leaving America...

I ain't american, but i pay 0 taxes. I've been on tourist visas in 40+ countries in the last 3 years. Because im never actually a resident anywhere, I don't have to pay taxes.

i just enter a country as a tourist, and pretty much stay until my time is up(usually 3-6 months) and move on.

I believe there are loopholes even if you are American to avoid taxes though, PM me if u wanna chat more

above^^^^Fucking Awesome dude!!!!!!

I live in the Uk and with the new 50% bracket it's pretty fucking shit, especially when you bare in mind our governement are some of the thickest cunts on the planet. If our coutry was a buiness and our politicians directors it would be liquidated and they'd be imprisoned. Red tape makes me mad as well. And rules. I'm childish and being told what to do only makes me want to do the opposite.

I recommend Luxembourg, seriously low taxes, stuck right in the middle of Eurpoe and great for moving freely around the main land. Avoid the UK (not that i really expected you to consider that), it'll be comunist soon, mark my words. :)

Do you enjoy high prices, high taxes, no sense of freedom, censored internet and no R rating for video games? Then you should consider Australia.

OP, have you even traveled anywhere outside the US yet? Sounds like you just need to backpack across Europe/Australia/Asia, etc and get a feel for where you want to live and experience other cultures.

Once you've traveled for awhile, you'll understand why there is such a high demand for the visa lottery.

I've found a lot of info from 2p2'ers in the travel forum (mostly young ballers doing what you're going to do) - 2p2- travel You can get a real good feel of places reading threads from people who 'been there, done that'.

This is one of the best resources I have found thanks to you! p2p seriously has some good info on it.

Holy Shit! Do tell man do tell. You just do this on affiliate cash?

You don't have to generate high dollars in affiliate cash to live in a third world country. Europe is a totally different story.

Sometimes its tempting to say fuck it, dump the day job, move to Thailand and live off affiliate monies.

This. Unfortunately. I love France, the weather, the food, the girls, the language.
But they're getting into serious trouble more and more because of that, burning cars in Paris and shit like that.

The UK is next for this kind of thing ... but this is getting off-topic.

Italia!!

This.
while this is a good thread first hand experience is your best choice.

OP, tell us your highest priorities if you want more customized recommendations (climate, lifestyle,..)

Holy shit... Didn't expect so many replies.. haha

First of all, Thuxen, that is fucking AWESOME. I used to do that around the US, never stayed in a single city for more than 2-3 months, then I would move on to a new place, and constantly rotate where I was.

I've grown up a little now, and I think doing the same thing on a fucking worldwide scale would be EPIC.

Moving on... Thanks for all the tips and suggestions guys... This is a good topic, because I'm sure I'm not the only son of a bitch that would love to get away from this place.

As for what my priorities are, I'm really not sure... That whole backpacking Europe idea is excellent, but it is something I could see myself doing for a few years rather than just a few months.

I haven't traveled outside of North America (US, Mexico, Canada), and this summer will be my first time in Europe. A friend of mine is stationed there, and is flying me out for the last 3 weeks he is there. Me and him grew up together, lead the same type of lives (minus the whole US Guberment job idea), and he said he abso-fuckin-lutely loves it there, and doesn't want to come back.

That should be a good experience to start with...

I wouldn't trade one state for another. As long as you are subject to a ruling authority you are going to face a lot of the same problems. For all the bullshit in the US, a lot of these Europeans countries have their own ( and it has to do with a lot more than immigration, cultural issues, etc). My only solution is to try to live in a place where the state is shitty but you have some expectation of being left alone to live your life if you so choose. I feel like going to any established state is going to be as shitty. As far as Somalia and places like that go ( yes, being serious) I sure as hell wouldn't want to live there as an alien but people who are native to that culture are probably better off in anarchy than the alternatives. I don't know why one would have a problem with our socialist government here and then want to move somewhere that is even more socialist with anti-youth/anti-business economic policies and their own cultural issues. In theory we have 50+ states here in the U.S. and a pretty diverse array of options when it comes to lifestyle, culture, cost of living, and so on.

thuxen's choice is nowhere near 'awesome' lol.

thuxen -- familiar with DC? i'm a board manager over there.

I wouldn't say it's awesome either. There are pros and cons to living like this, some of which you don't realize until you do it.

But as far as $ is concerned, i spend most of my time in south america so on top of not paying tax, my living costs are also about 1/3 of the western world

Whats DC?

as true as it gets. i'll conclude with that.

DC is the #1 PT community. perhaps slightly on the notorious side though...

I figured you probably hadn't judging by your responses. I think you'll soon find out that every country has a "Guberment" and policies that will piss you off and disagree with. Just read what some of the other posters are saying about their own country.

Grass is always greener...

I LOL at all the Obama fucktards now crying about leaving the U.S. when his popularity keeps cratering.

I don't think anyone is basing their decision on what obama is doing. I highly doubt any cares that much. For most like my self its because I don't want to be one of them poor bastards that spends his whole life living in one country. I want the experience and adventure of having to learn other cultures and languages.
