The worlds largest single digital advertising platform has had it. They have had it with the flogs, nogs, narticles and farticles. They have had it with the consumers complaints of not being able to cancel their re-bills. They have really had it with affs pulling off T&C's, qualifiers and disclaimers after they get approved by their editorial department.

Coming within the next few days Yahoo will go from the "grey area" to "black and white". Rebills will be chased out. Granted, the big re-billers like Netflix will be grandfathered. The rest of us, honest or otherwise, will be gone. From display to ppc, it's over and "we" brought it on ourselves. From diet, teeth whiteners, wrinkle creams, stretch mark, toenail fungus, bissopps, cellulite creams...you name it and we fucked it up..

Don't believe me? You will very shortly. Can we kill this fucking industry any faster? I think not.

Let the useless dick rolls begin.

Enjoy,

D

Your proof will be when your ass is thrown out of Yahoo on or around this Friday. It hasn't happened yet, but you will for fuck sure know when it does, that I promise. Sharpen up your resumes or get ready for some $20k media buys, cause between Google and Yahoo on the warpath to maintain the user experience, MSN ppc is gonna a be a tad crowded. Enjoy!

It's absolutely true, at least regarding media buying on Yahoo. Pretty bad news. Why does he need a link to give you good information?

I heard yesterday that MSN is doing a raffle.

The best joke that an affiliate marketer emails them wins no.1 spot on "buy viagra" for a year for free.

Dont ask me for a source, its true so I dont need one.

This is old news, all of the major search engines have been cracking down on everything for months now. Not like you are breaking any news to anyone who actually makes money from PPC.

Fuck it Yahoo doesn't make money either (just like facebook), so who cares.

yahoo SEM already dinged one of my domains a few months back for unacceptable biz practices. i thought that this was already known/policy and they couldnt keep up w/ the flood of rebills. guess not.

^^^^OMG you're an idiot.

This is absolutely BREAKING news as the meeting just happened this morning where Yahoo decided to eliminate rebills. Reps are calling in a panic because they're gonna lose millions. We're not talking about PPC campaigns getting stopped (did you READ the post?), we're talking ppc, media buys, Y! Mail links the whole fucking thing is going away.

PPC is Yahoo's smallest source of traffic. Don't try to sound smart when you don't understand what the threads about.

He is absolutely correct as far as media buys. No bullshit at all and it's not in the slightest bit fucking cool. Haven't heard anything about PPC and those departments don't communicate so we'll see. But media buys for rebills on bluelithium/rightmedia/yahoo whatever will be dead Friday.
