Does anyone else think this guy isn't funny? He's not funny nor is his spinoff Colbert funny. They are both overrated.

Opinions?

Watching a parody news show is not really the funniest thing in the world unless you're interested in and keep up with the news somewhat. Sometimes The Daily Show does have funny sketches that probably appeal to most people. Plus it's always funny to point out ridiculousness in real life.

Anyways, I enjoy the show sometimes but I do not watch it regularly.

Stewart is ok... some shows suck, some are ok. Colbert totally sucks balls, I don't think I have laughed even one time while watching his show.

Both Stewert and Colbert are great.
I don't know how you can't laugh throughout the whole thing.

But as J-Tag said, The Daily Show isn't as good since they lost a lot of their good people. Steve Carell in particular.

Both of them are hilarious. If you don't like them then there's a good chance that it's just because you don't agree with their politics.

I used to really like the Daily Show, but it went downhill after they did that election coverage, won the Peabody, and started to take themselves way too seriously. Newsflash for Mr. Stewart. It's supposed to be a parody of a news program; not a real news program.

completely agree with you on that

I don't the Stewart is that funny. I get his humor, I just think it's lame...weak comedy.

Having said that, there must be a large number of people that like him as his show has been on for quite a while now.

How is it not a still a parody? I'm having a hard time seeing similiarites between TDS and 60 minutes.

Well, it is a parody, but it isn't. The problem is that he has too many serious guests on now and he conducts serious interviews. When the show first started with Craig Kilborn, and in the beginning with Jon as host, the guest segment wasn't a who's who's of D.C. along with political commentators and reporters.
