iPhone Users...Is the iPhone 4 Worth the $$

With there now being a Windows phone, I wonder if all the Windows Fanbois/Apple Haters, will move away from the "retardedly simple", "childish" product that is something made by Apple and go onto the new Windows phone.

I'm sure, like Windows 7, it'll shit over any Apple OS...

no copy and paste is always a good thing not that have...windows phone FTW.

windows phone 7 is nice, but it's not comparable to iOS yet since it's so new, it still needs to be developed more.

Hey good news and bad news with my new phone. Good news is that the guy sold me a 32GB phone, but listed it as a 16gb phone, so I payed way less for the big boy model.

The bad news is that the new phone has the new 4.1 firmware & the 2.10.04 baseband, which basically means that there's no unlock for it at the moment. I can jailbreak the thing, which makes it an ipod on steroids, but I'll have to wait a month or so for the hackers to release the latest unlock software. No big deal I guess. My old iphone is still hanging on by a thread.

can this be pm'ed or super private?

here you go

Have had an old 8gb original iPhone for the past few years. Never stopped working, always reliable, etc.

Been really torn the past week between the iPhone 4 or Blackberry Torch. But going with the Torch for e-mail, keypad and most importantly BBM.

I'll miss the little apps and better browser but it's worth it (at least seems like it, I'm keeping my old phone in case I don't like it).

Why don't you just jailbreak it to 4.0?? Just downgrade bud and wait for the new jailbreak

Everything I've read says once you have the newest baseband installed, you can't downgrade and unlock.

Had been blackberry, i just picked up a unlocked iphone4 from the apple store in london. I can do 80% of the things i normally use my laptop for on the iphone4, makes me more productive when i'm away from my computer, which to me, justifies the cost.

I likey

I have had the Torch for awhile now. Best Blackberry hands down (I have had practically every model made in the past 4 years)

The Browser does even more than the Iphone browser can do... It is basically an iPhone now, but with an optional keyword.

All firmware, software updates, are automatically downloaded and installed, no computer needed, no shit software... Definitely the most likable Blackberry yet.

Fixed for you.

Torch's browser is still much better. You should try it out.

I did...safari is still better, but the torch's browser is a huge improvement over any previous BB browser...the torch is a really nice phone, it's just equivalent to something created in 2009.

That's good to hear.

Going to test both out this week whenever I decide to go get it. Doubt I'll change my mind. The main thing is BB's e-mail client is SO much better than the iPhone's has ever been

Skype calls are made possible, retina display is much better and so is the battery life. What more do you want?

You'll enjoy it. The only problems I had with it were fixed in an update awhile back.
