I just returned by evo for an iphone 4 today...the iPhone is soooooo much nicer, better build, better OS...and it's not buggy. also mail app and the keyboard are great...all the mail and keyboard apps i used on android sucked... I thought android was developed enough to actually be useable...I was wrong, So I went back to iOS.

but generally yes, based on hardware and limitations, the evo will be better...especially if you enjoy a short battery life, then evo is best. But when it came down to preference, I preferred the iPhone over the evo...to me the iPhone is better cause of the OS, also the Evo was too big for me, it was annoying to type on.
