Introduction

Hi, my name is Rox. I'm 27 and love pink, writing, soccer and Muaythai, in no particular order.

I'm a web copywriter recently branching out as an Affiliate Manager... so far so good. Affiliate marketing is turning out to be a blast, especially now that I've discovered WF.

p.s. I think it was the BuyMyStupidBook link that got me hooked - sales letters are so not my favourite thing to do, they totally would be if I could make ones like that though. Hehehe...

Greetings WFers,

My name is Louis and I'm an affiliate manager slash (wannabe) web marketing guru living in Montreal, Quebec (pronounced Moan-Royale, Kay-Beck). Web hobbies include facebook pimping, blog hopping, and forum lurking. Jokes. Offline hobbies Hobbies include roof top BBQs, indie hip hop shows, and the occasional spiritous beverage..

Looking forward to absorbing some of the serious knowledge being kicked around here as well as maybe tossing my two cents in every now and again.

Cheers

Louis-Jacob

I'm Jenn, 41, live in Boston. Started with adult about six months ago and was doing pretty well with that on Adwords until Google slapped the fuck out of me last week. They make me feel like I'm in a relationship with an abusive spouse.

I've only just started to dabble in mainstream and I'm still mostly at the read everything I find obsessively stage, but I have finally started building some sites.

Sort of new to Wicked Fire

I joined Wicked Fire a while ago but this is my first post.
I have been working on the Internet since 2003, I really enjoy it.
Loads better than working 9-5 in an office.

I live in Johannesburg South Africa. I am married to Jerome. He is a Web Developer and Multimedia Programmer. I have a son, Matthew. He is 8 years old and he is mad about the computer. He plays Lego Starwars, Sims and lots of other games that he finds online. I have to monitor his time or he would be on the computer all day.

I am looking forward to lots of networking on Wicked Fire.

I'm Jazz, 18 and am stoked to have just found this forum. Sure I like DP and all but it's great to see a place where white hatters and black hatters can come together in a forum where anything goes.

Oh yeah about myself? Well I'm working full time at Hungry Jacks (Burger King for those in the US) and I really want to make some god damn money off the internet... I'm extremely confident in my abilities but not many people around me are.

Hi there everybody,

I'm Martin from Singapore - Male - 41 Years Old....

Going into Internet Marketing Full Time, was in Sales & Marketing for nearly 20 years before.

I've just attended World Internet Mega Summit (WIS) 2007 in Singapore end of May 2007, with the World Top Internet Marketing Gurus here to convince us that Making Money on the Internet is Easy and Highly Possible. They included : Stephen Pierce, Jay Abraham, David Cavernaugh, Tom Hua, Mike Filsaime, Armand Morin, Brett McFall, etc.

Every excited now and with the addtional tools and information picked up during WIS, and is ready to go.

I'm with some Computer Science background, and although struggled through the initial months on HTML, Web-sites, autoresponders, Forms, Hosting Sites, etc.

I'm in a much better position, and has unravelled, and continue to find new avenue, what others in Internet Marketing is doing their "Business".

Like to know more about you, and learn from you, and to share with you what I learnt - the hard way.

Here from you soon.

Martin Lee

New member from DP. Glad to have found the WF. Was sick of the fucktards at DP asking the same god damn questions over and over and...

Just mentioned in a PM the other day how far down hill DP had slid in the last couple of years and was wanting to find someplace without all the bullshit.

Mission accomplished.

Originally from Tulsa, OK. Now living in Houston, TX. Started on the intermaweb thingie a long time ago. Used to work for a company called ViaGrafix before it was bought out by Learn2 before Learn2 went bust in the dot com implosion. Now work for a subsidary of HP making Tech Specs. In between the two I spent a tour in the USN attached to NATO then sub attached to the UN. Had fun being shot at in Sarajevo. Run a sideline business making sites for small businesses in the area, starting to focus that into HOA sites as the ad revenue is much better. Also of importance I guess is that I spent 4 years as a public school teacher mostly in the inner city (after the navy, before the hp thing).

I see. so is your name, the place you live now?

dual purposes.

I live near the intersection of two roads... One's called Huffmeister the other is called Springcypress. The geniuses down here have a habit of naming streets off of the towns that they connect... In this case Spring, TX and Cypress, TX. I live in Cypress.

SpringCypress is a turning into a pretty important road in this area. Lots of small businesses opening up along it. As such local searches for the term "springcypress" are becoming more popular. I reg'd the .com version of the name and started a LLC under the name, focusing in on creating small sites for local businesses.

When it comes to web dev, I'm not interested in creating sites which focus on broad or worldwide audiences but in super small local small businesses... It's been good for me. I'm almost to the point where I'm making as much online as I do at my 9-5.

However like I mentioned earlier, I'm starting to focus in on HOA sites. I've got one up and running and am in talks with 2 other developments to create theirs. The ad revenue from the one I have up and running is amazing for the amount of work involved. The advertisers are all located within a 2 mile radius of the subdivision and as such are small businesses which most of the time don't have a website... which... means I'm starting to get those businesses as site customers... Kind of a nice circle.

Hey my name's (too unusual and can easily be found in the SERPS along with articles with links pointing to my niche sites, from a time when i didn't use my brain) Yep i'm paranoid and paranoia is your friend remember that!

I'm 19 and from merry old england UK, built my first website at age 15 after learning HTML (I thought i was the dogs left bollock until i realised this wouldn't achieve fuck all unless people actually came to my site duuuh)

Been doing SEO primarily for MFA websites for the past (roughly) 2 years.. and more recently the past 6 or so months ive been hitting it hard at the affiliate game, mainly due to coming very close to an adsense ban, which made me realise that i shouldn't have all my eggs in google's basket!

Yea that's pretty much it for now, so umm Hey! :rasta:

Brand new here!

Hi, my name is Roland, I'm an affiliate manager in a performance based marketing company in the greater Los Angeles area.

I'm looking forward to being a positive and effective contributor to this forum.

I'm 25, very happy with life, and excited about working in this industry.

My name is Rick Latona. This isn't my first Rodeo but it's my first time on WickedFire.com. I own notable Internet companies such as consumptionjunction.com, offshoring.com, digipawn.com, around 13,000 high-quality domains and many small developed sites which aren't worth bragging about here.

I plan on advertising a new company here on WF as soon as I can get the price list and work something out with the powers that be.

Just thought i'd say hello, really good looking forum and i cant wait to get started being active around here :)
