Dude- I jut listened to a podcast from affiliateblog.co.uk, is that YOU!?! holy shit that would be HELLA CRAZY!

Yeah that's me ;)

LOL did you find the podcast from a different source and then just see me turn up here? The internet is a very small world :D

Thanks for the welcome Rob :) This forum looks pretty cool - I've only ever got involved in more UK based stuff before.

Let me know what you think of the podcasts once you've had a chance to listen.

fraser, your podcasts are great, and I think its funny how you people have those accents :D I can't wait to travel :D

I don't have an accent! It's you guys that have the accents ;)

Rob - no plans yet for future shows beyond speaking to one of the UK affiliate networks next week. I planned for 3 episodes as a trial and then I'll figure out from there how to go forward if it seems worthwhile. Any suggestions would be great but maybe PM me as I don't want to get in trouble for hijacking the introductions thread. :)

Hi all! 5 Star's in Da House!

Most of you know me from DP, SP, my forums and/or all the others I post at. Congrats to Jon for getting this forum off to such a great start.

I see lots of familiar names - I have read blogs by some of you or have heard some of you on podcasts or Webmaster radio. Look forward to participating here whenever I can make it over.

surfed in courtesy of the "refer 30 people" contest, and guess I put one of you closer to winning

very nice forum, and amazing traffic for a couple of days - grats Jon for putting it all together

been online since about '87 - the days of BBS systems and stupid big phone bills for logging into boards in other states

i do mostly offline stuff for my day job, but am pushing to put more and more of my activity online - really look forward to learning a few things hanging out here

Haha, I remember trying to download pirated games and having a stack of about 40 disks to save it onto. I actually I remember stuff before that like Mosaic and playing with a Wang computer :p

I played some kind of football game on the commodore 64... double dragon on the atari (atari computer, not the console)... that was so much fun

my first comp was a trs-80 with 4k total memory - programs were loaded with cassette tapes

I'm Pud - that's not my real name ;o)

Been looking forward to this forum starting up.

I won't say much about what I've done - I have a decent profile online and want a place where I can be anon and when someone annoys me I can say "Piss off idiot" without having to worry about what people think/damaging my name/rep.http://www.wickedfire.com/http://www.wickedfire.com/

I run lots of sites - straight ecommerce and affiliate sites. Know lots of some things, but almost zero programming/tech stuff. Have my own business with office and staff.

Been online for 8 years.http://www.wickedfire.com/http://www.wickedfire.com/

I'm from Australia and I'm bloody old compared to a lot of you guys and gals. Damn you!

Hey y'all,
I think it's about time I stopped lurking and started posting - the Peter Davis thread can be thanked for that, I want to see this forum become an equal to/more successful than SitePoint. :D

Anyway... I'm Gary aka Indy, I've been developing sites for about 6 months now (Seems like years =\ ) but I've learnt a hell of a lot in those few months.
I'm a designer/coder when I'm not being lazy, I mostly outsource work nowadays though.

Et cetera, et cetera....

Talk soon, I guess :p

im a newby here, from the Netherlands. 19 years old and studying commercial economics. And from now on checkin this place out :D

Well....

I'm Possibility from SPF. I'm 18 and going off to JMU. Been doing this web stuff for about 4 years, though i'm just starting to get real serious about it. Love to play soccer, snowboard, and mountain bike in my free time :)
