Honestly the route you are going. I do not see why you wouldn't hire an SEO Company or make a department to work on the site. You are putting up big bucks for promotion and need to sink some of that into it.
Start using the facebook advertising platform to spread the word. Target the interests, area and shit.
Indiana, as the state, and then male. I wouldn't get to far into the targeting because you will have an extremely low target audience. (also try myspace).
You have more of an interest in what I would call branding. Which most people here could really give a fuck about. We look for ROI and conversions. Though you should pay some attention to things like this. It should not be your main concern.
The site is nice but lacks from initial look any SEO at all. You need to get backlinks. Build articles on the topics you are targeting.
Another good idea would be using Adwords and targeting well there again state indiana. Things like that.
I don't think any of this would work without you actually hiring someone to do it. Like I said you are not or should not be really worried about getting a return on your investment or a positive ROI as you should at branding yourself to people.
You do not need a shit load to get things going. I could help if you want. Not sure how much I could.

You're approaching this community all wrong, which is why you're failing this hard. It happens. This community is a lot more delicate that say ... other forums. You can't just barge in here, ask for thousands of dollars worth of free (And dare I say already available on this board) help by posting a picture of a relatively hot girl that we are expected to believe is your wife.
You had the right idea by posting a girl, but why not try some topless whore on the internet and not the mother of your children? Glad we got that settled. I suggest you look in the Traffic Building section. Or, contact some of the more knowledgeable members on here. I think KingofSP used to play, and play hard in your niche, and he'd be the right guy to help you with some promotion.

1000's daily in a niche like yours (which is MASSIVE) shouldn't be terribly hard, I'd shoot quite a bit higher. Just look at it this way, you're already 1/30th the way to your goal and trending nicely.
The quickest and cheapest way to achieve your goal would be to come up with some kind of news syndication/daily mma videos so your existing users have a reason to bookmark and return every day. I can think of a million other traffic gimmicks like nationwide "ring girl for a day" contests where the horny guys come to watch girl next door videos like the one below ... chicks are sluts for attention and even non-mma fans would be posting their vides. This stuff is also helps a site go viral.

To get initial traffic push, I'd steal from mma weekly (100k combined exact) and mma news (90k exact) ... there's only 1 ad on the page so your clicks should be uber cheap & plentiful.
This isn't a free solution ($10k/m will get you started), but you shouldn't be afraid to spend some money on this TBH ... you can always recoup most of the investment by TV deals & ticket/merchandise sales.
Now hook us up with some kind of rebill and we'll be happy to drive the traffic to you on our own.

a while back I created a small blog farm made up of 18 WP blogs starting with BiPolarPuncher linked up to all of the others. Ran twitter accounts and autofeeds from each blog. They actually send some traffic but serve no other purpose right now.
All MMA related.
I also have GreedMonger.com of course which is nothing right now. Just an idea for a hobby site.
But I also have NakeIndie: home which is a social networking music portal that we are about to redevelop and promote heavily.
I'm looking for people who have the proven ability to generate traffic for these sites, primarily naked and big show and I'd like to see what options there are in getting them more established online and the costs associated with hiring you to help do it.
When we relaunch nakedindie, my goal is to get 5,000 bands on the site with songs and music videos. We will offer a $5,000 cash prize with a bunch of other perks as a contest when we launch, but we need to get the word out there.
I'm open for ideas and this is the only forum I'm posting this stuff in. A lot of you guys are crazy, but I know many of you know your shit and I like crazy. I'm a fight promoter!
