I love living in a 3rd world shithole.

I feel your pain bro. Maybe I'll post pics of my hovel one day. Then the dolts can come out of the woodwork again talking about ladyboys and danger and third world and whatever other imaginings they have.

BTW, same issue on this side of the Kingdom with internet, except they are slooowww with service. Landline got snapped when a neighbor trimmed a tree and took them 4 days to come around and fix it.

that is the only thing that scares me

Nice, but way too vulnerable to armed intruders.

Not worried about that. One, I'm sure I'll end up in a gated community, so there's security on the outside. Two, I'll grab a private security guard for the house, which will only be $300/month max, and probably less.

And most importantly, I have 3 dogs now, and with a yard that large, will get at least a couple more. You can bribe humans, but you can't bribe dogs. And the dogs have absolute no problems telling strangers to fuck off, waking me up in the process.

What kind of dogs? I have 2 German Shephards that scare the crap out of people. The whole village knows our house as the one with the big dogs.

BTW, if you happened to read the pseudo survivalist thread I started a while ago there was one commenter who said you should have two layer defense with a flock of geese in the outer layer because they are noisy and much harder to poison or shoot them all. In desperate times that might be a good idea, but the truth is:
Nice, but way too vulnerable to armed intruders.
There just isn't much, or really any, of that here. Plus, they don't have the SWAT team bust into your house and shoot your pets to search for a small baggie.

Marc Faber lives there. Maybe you can hit him up for a beer.

I like that guy's style. Wish I could meet him.

They even have resorts for rent for very cheap.

I can't view the pictures in FF/Chrome, somebody should offer them web dev.

How soon? I am here for another month or so.

But I am cheap and live in a hotel room for under 300$/month... :D

I only noticed 2 short internet outages during heavy rain/storm. Speed is very good most of the time. Sometimes it's slow though, I suspect it's other hotel guests watching/downloading tranny porn though...
