And yes, a man in heavy armor, with restricted movements would be ridiculously easy to restrain...even with minimal training...if any need be at all. That isn't bragging. That like saying I could definitely out run him too...because he is at a disadvantage to start with.
I heard it was tear gas, but either case, this is a false analogy. When driving, I'm not trying to hide from the road. I want a wall of light, because walls hide you, which is the point. To prevent him from seeing you while you, close the distance, duck behind cover, shoot at him, run away etc.
Although it is only concealment and not cover, concealment is better than no concealment.
Lol, how is that proof? That test was set up so that the gunmen KNEW who had a pistol. In a real scenario, he would be tracking 100 people in the room running around...not just the CHL holder.
That scenario is only true as a possibility that IF, the CHL holder is untrained and IF the gun man happens to notice him/her first, THEN that could happen. But then again,I believe it said "half" failed...the other half shot him. (or avoided getting shot)
