How much can I make in 7 days with Arbitrage starting from scratch!

I don't think it is misleading simply because I did start from scratch. In the first post I said I might use niches but I would generate new keyword lists. I said I was starting from scratch, I did not go through my stats and pic and choose, I simply took what I had learned, what is in my head and put that to use. sure research is what this is all about, again I thought that was obvious.
Do I like KWC better than Wordtracker? yes, KWC has given me hundreds of new niches that I will get to. I don't use Overture much anymore because of KWC!

Actually, $300 a day is probably not too hard to spend with 150 niches, that's only $2 a niche on average, which is pretty easy with a half-decent topic.

yo chris,

you still spending that 0.06 a click with 7search, or do you bid more on certian keywords knowing the profit you be making....

LOL - you spelt out how to do it another 40 page thread and people still didn't get it. The thing is you can do everything short of building the pages and giving out your keyword lists and some people STILL won't get it. That's just the nature of the internet.

...or just the nature of people. Most don't have the motivation, common sense, work attitude, problem solving ability, and persistence to make money on the net. Everyone can dream but not everyone can do.

I have some problems in some of these areas but much less than most because I actually make a living on the net.

Kentster - the problem is not just online. I have employed people for 13 years. Many with degrees, that does not seem to matter. Most people are never going to make the commitment to do something. Many people want something handed to them. In my computer hardware business, when I would hire a sales man I told them they were getting a 6 figure job. All they had to do was make sure everything we had in inventory was listed on ebay, was on the website we would start for them, we gave them a list of customers that bought from us wholesale. The job did not take up front knowledge to be very successful. Just do what the others are doing, just make your stuff look unique. It did not matter if the person was well educated or not, 75% of them would only put in 40 hours a week and complain they were only making 5 or 6 k a month and were surprised when I gave them the boot. The ones that were successful went home and fired up the computer and email, when the email came in at midnight for a bulk order of printers they did not wait until morning to respond. Life is good for those who are willing to work for it. If you say well I have a wife and kids to think about, fine, what is wrong with working 80 hour weeks for 6months or so? oh that would piss the wife off? you would miss the kids? Sounds like you don't think you will be successful and so you make excuses!
Quit making excuses and either do the work and have more, it is there for you to take or shut the fuck up and be happy with your life. If you want the easy way, go buy loto tickets but don't be surprised if you never win!

Hey Chris I hope your rant wasnt directed towards me, I find all your threads truly valuable. Its just hard to get going on this shit when you have a family and a time consuming job. I started on this in middle October and had never made a webpage, or knew wtf a keyword was. So am I glad I am making $25 a day... fuck yeah! But am I satisfied no way. Trust me when I quit my day job you'll be one of the first people I thank.

well black, if the shoe fits wear it, I don't have a family but I would think that if I did I would make the sacrifice if I knew there was something better for me out there.

haha. This thread is cracking me up. chrislingle always starts these well intentioned threads that give away tons of great information and it seems like by page three they are always derailed by idiots.

And for those of you wondering if there is any money to be made in arbitrage - trust me it is a waste of time. I started three days ago and have only managed to double my money. That was an investment of three hours down the drain.

Keep on doing what your doing. It aint easy, but if it was then everyone and their mom would do it (no offense Jan). Trust me it can be done. I work a 60 hour per week day job and have a wife, play soccer, a ton of hunting and a week old baby. I'm on my way to quitting. I'll be there next year. I started in June or July and I've made over $1500 in November, $800 in October. You just have to work when you can. For example, my baby eats every 3 hours, so I let my wife go to bed early and I stay awake and work until her midnight feeding. This gives me 2-3 straight uniterruped working hours.

And all you asshats saying that arbitrage, go fuck yourself. Do you really think that everyone is talking about it and Jon is blogging about something that doesn't work? Jesus, no one is going to hod your fucking hand, but Chrislingle has given way way more information than you possibly need to at the minimum double your money. Why the fuck would you give him shit for trying to help? There is a shitload of information in this thread and his other thread, who fucking cares about how he worded the title? Read it and fucking do it.

Thanks for the info Chris.

i was being sarcastic about it being a waste of time. In fact, it almost seems too good to be true. I'm going to milk the fuck out of it while it lasts.

Wasn't directed at you Jack, we were posting at the same time.

I don't get it, 3 hours to double your money. Start the first week with $20 and you make $20= $6 per hour, same thing next week (no extra time) = $12 per hour, same thing next week = $18 per hour. 3 times more than mcdonalds. I think that most people aren't realizing that you put in the intial time and reuse the shit out of it.

One thing I'm wondering is how long PPC arbitrage will remain a good opportunity. Right now I've got basically a year free between college and grad school and I'm spending it building up sources of residual income.

Even at my kinda slow pace (up to ~$40/day profit after about 3 weeks) I'm sure I could make a killing with arbitrage, but it seems like the sort of thing that could go from boom to bust in a day, say if 7Search goes out of business or changes their policy or any number of other little things. It sounds like that very thing just happened to everyone who had their money on AdWords->AdSense arbitrage. So it doesn't seem like a "quit your day job" income stream, just something nice that's quick to set up and good while it lasts. I don't want to spend too much of my limited time working on something that might not last.

I'm going to keep doing some arbitrage but I'm switching my effort to trying to learn PPC affiliate marketing. I want to just try that for a few weeks too and then go back to building evergreen content sites, stuff that's guaranteed to still be making me good money ten years down the road when I haven't touched it in five.

This is kind of off-topic, but whatever.

Everything is in a state of change and the internet by it's nature changes faster.

If you have a year off, I would spend it diversifying.

The core of my web business will always be content driven sites, but those take quite a bit of time to grow - not to mention they require more resources. But I like doing them the most and when I get tired of them I can sell them.

Right now my time is split about 70% between content and arbitrage, but over the next few months I want to get it more like 50% content, 25% arbi and 25% affiliate.

Setec, Last month I ran hard with an opportunity with MUCH less chance of survival..... Made 3 years worth of my day jobs salary and quit. Arbitrage isn't going to go away until adsense / ypn / shopping.com and anyone else who pays for clicks say NO paid traffic. Fat chance of that happening soon. There are always places that will sell traffic and always ways to monetize it. Don't worry so much about the longevity of it, the time spent debating is money your leaving on the table...
