I used to hang around at Sitepoint quite a bit, but the place isn't what it used to be. It seems like a lot of threads go without answers or only result in a post and one reply.

Also, I think power has gone to the heads of some of the mods. They need to take it down a notch and remember that they are simply mods not the Internet police.

I pretty much only check out the buy/sell forum there, and I think that's about all it's good for.

And that isn't even that great anymore now that they rob posts of $20 bucks to post a site. Have you noticed how few sites are being posted now?

I used to be a big SPF fan.. but not anymore. I read it every now and then, but don't post there much. That's why I started WF. So I could hang out and have fun the way I've always wanted it to be. I don't see the point in charging people to post, and they have way too many categories and subcategories, that really took whatever fun it used to be out of hanging out there.

I would have to disagree. They USED to have "some good deep information". Now the site is useless.
