Hey Guys,

I know the answer to the question generically. Build content and build links. I need some advice specifically.

I have a content writer that has completed a ton of articles for our business. I've put them up and added them to the sitemap and submitted it to Google. We are having more articles written every day. These articles are all being targetted for specific keywords. It's not the article writing that I need advice on because I think we're doing what we need to for them.

The real question is, how should I link them? What tools can I use to help me better understand my competitions' backlinks? Apparently it may be a good idea to have all our articles in a Wiki because Google trusts them more.

If backlinks are going to help my PR, should the quality of those links be my main assessor? Is this something I would be better off doing myself or is it better to outsource? What would you do? I'm just not sure what specifically to look for to determine what process is best.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks.

Use yahoo's backlink checker to see what your competition is doing. It's a good idea to link your articles together using hyperlinks in keywords to each other. Make a chain of links from one article to the next. Also you should spin them and submit them to article directories.
