This season is craaazy and looks like next episode is gonna be closer to MMA than cooking. I can't stand chef Ramsay though, he really acts like he's the biggest deal in the universe.

Gordon reminds me of what I used to be like in High School. He tends to take things over the top and his ratings go high only because he got a style of abusing people and get respect in return. I used to be in hospitality. I know what the kitchen is like. People abusing anyone, everyone for fun. Its fucking crazy and amazing. Its the only way a kitchen works!

Naw, but I do watch Kitchen Nightmares, which IMO is even better.
I also watched the first US season of Masterchef which was decent.

But yeah, Ramsey is a dick.
I also notice that he uses the same vocabulary no matter what he's talking about. If I ever hear the words "the most amazing" I may just shoot myself.

Though I have been looking for an excuse to post this for a while...

I watched most of the the episode last night. I thought Boris looked the best in the beginning, until he mocked Gordon and got his ass chewed haha

WHat i dont get is didnt the last season just end under 2 months ago? Seems like way too soon for another season. I'll let them build up on the tivo and then watch them a few months from now.

^ That's not his restaurant, he's not even the head chef.

Unless I'm confused I thought the winner was supposed to get their OWN restaurant in the borgata.

Ricky Gervais view of Ramsay.... from the awesome "extras" series!

but I'm starting to wonder if it's all real though... I mean sometimes it really look staged. Kinda like that other show "Operation Repo"... at first I thought it was real then I realized just recently it was all acting. Disappointing when you're all excited watching this kind of show because you think it's all pure reality TV but then you realize it's not.

I think it's more like they get some prize money and a job offer. I don't know if any of them have really been given a big deal restaurant to run on their own. Some of the contestants have better positions before they go on the show, but the show gets them on TV and a nice chunk of change for the winner.
