Anyone who has gotten hit by the latest quality score update, how is your relevancy? Are your keywords tightly targeted to your pages or are you casting a wide net?

Also I have seen they are testing a feature that will tell you by keyword if you quality score is "Good, Medium or Low". Should be interesting information when available.

I dont do arbitrage, but this has effectively attempted to kill my ads, raising me from a steady few months of .03 to .40. So screw you abritrage people for ruining it for everyone else. No seriously i think i can get around this tho.

Just a thought about what google has done with adwords and wouldn't that result in more advertisers considering using the content network again? It could actually benifit the arbi sites even more if they don't use adwords for traffic.
...just a half ass thought.

THis seems to be way overblown. Just make your arbi sites look more like regular sites. No problem.
Exactly. Because, ultimately, Google's loyalty is not to the advertiser but to the consumer. If Google allows its quality to crap out, consumers inevitably will find someone else that will give them what they are looking for. Remember Alta Vista back in the late 90s?

I may wrong here, but the ads that show on your arbi site are content network ads and google's new quality score algorithm only affects advertisers SEARCH bids. So the ads are your arbi site shouldn't really change...

I know on most of my sites a lot of the same shitty ads are still showing

Am I missing something?

Wrong, it affects the content ads as well.

Is anyone doing any link cloaking/masking on aff links? If so what methods are you using?

Just don't buy traffic from adwords to send to your adsense arbi page...simple, huh?

No shit? Brilliant, I hadn't thought of that!

Kidding...

In Shoe's post he is referring to directly linking to affiliate offers as well

Shoe:
If you have a landing page for products for science sake (anyone watch southpark in the last 2 weeks will get that joke) DO NOT directly link with your affiliate code. Make sure you have your own internal redirection system.
For instance if I was paying for Google Adwords to goto shoemoney.com and on shoemoney.com I had offers for RING TONES with AzoogleAds.
I have 2 ways to link to AzoogleAds Ring tone offers.OR
