I remember seeing some "genius" all over Facebook and everywhere, who had an alexa rank of around 1k, promoting this shit via his Flog. *malename*sgooglemoney.com or something.
I must admit i was properly jealous because i'd steered clear and was starting to think i should jump on board. I mean there was no way this particular person wasn't making an absolute killing and i suspect he's properly on Google's Gaydar. Anyway, i guess i can now breath a sigh of relief (with an under-tone of self-righteous laughter).

thank god I took down my gets green site ages ago...I forgot why I did, I think I read something else on here that raised a red flag.
looking at the domains Nickycakes posted those 50 are getting done for using 'google' in their domain names (with crap like this caught up in there; Google Money - Make Money with Google).
then there's the other affiliate list, which is all flogs/farticles
Oddly enough, Google is in a few of my domains, and I haven't had any issues thus far ,other than a de-index. I'm curious if any sort of disclaimers I could put up now would suffice.

I find it hard to believe that people didn't see this coming though. How is this any different than using Oprah's name? It's the same thing - but worse.
You don't need the brand recognition to sell this shit - and I hope some bizops start realizing that. Creating trust can be through your character, not through a brand. These affiliates, like the one featured on c-net, lack the creativity to sell without practically saying he is Google.
The other day I finally got a flog, more like just a fake story, ranked #1 for a solid term. It's converting astonishingly well and there's no mention of Google. It explains what making money online is really like, the freedom, the money, the lifestyle.
That in and of its self has gotten me, so far, much higher conversions than old flogs I ran last summer basically saying, "Google will fucking give you money try this now!"
It'd be interesting to hear from networks where they see the bizop market going. I see no reason why it can't continue but without the use of Google.

The NFL sued Coors just for using "Super Sunday" in an ad. Quality of the ad or product had nothing to do with it in that case, of course. In regards to advertising practices, it might be worth pointing out that Subway has "results not typical" Jared, while they don't have anything like claiming that the Subway CEO will go to your house to perform liposuction on you.

Unreal that someone would be stupid enough to keep running a lander like that. If he would have stopped 3-4 months ago he would have been able to keep all that money. I'd be surprised if he doesn't end up in jail as that is flat out fraud.
