Godaddy Groupon $70 credit for $25 or $30 credit for $10

To the gay webmasters who bought a shitton of these and are wondering how they're going to spend them..

What if you had an associate of yours list a random domain with a buy it now price of (however many credits you bought.)
Then you buy that domain name, and your associate cashes out the money.

For example, if you spent $1000 on $3000 worth of credits, bought the domain name for $3000, minus the 10% auction fee.. Your associate would get paid $2700.

Am I missing something, or this is a good way to turn godaddy credits into real money?

When you have a minimal odd amount of credit left over, you can click on your $.99 ebates link multiple times and get .99 .coms to use it up.

Flipping

I'm not that knowledgeable at flipping domains, but do think there's money to be made here. I'm willing to drop up to $10,000 on credits which will be used to buy and resell domains. Anyone here experienced willing to manage this for me and get a 30% cut of the profits? I put up the money and you put up the expertise. Could be an easy couple grand. If so, PM me.

@KennyPowers -- I signed-up to this form just to talk to you about domain flipping. It's what I do for a living. Let me know if you would like to rap about it.

Guys check your godaddy account in-store credits. I just found godaddy rejected my groupon credits as invalid (Except the first one). WTF!

Yep. Me too. Only have exactly what I spent left...

Anyone have any recourse / solutions?

It's not what you spent. The canceled all coupons except the first one. You'll have only $70 left no matter how many $70 coupons you bought. It seems they did it today.

In my inbox I have a bunch of these...

"An Important Message Regarding Your Groupon for GoDaddy.com Cedar Rapids"

Or wherever they were bought and I'm thinking "ruh oh, they cottoned onto me!"

Nope...

Hi Brad,
Thanks for purchasing a shiny new Groupon for GoDaddy.com Cedar Rapids!
We hope you're happy with your purchase and will be enjoying it soon, but we need to let you know that we goofed something up. When you bought your Groupon, you were charged in U.S. Dollars instead of Canadian Dollars. This is entirely on us, and we know that this probably led to some ugly currency conversion fees from your bank.
We want to make this right as soon as possible (without causing even more currency woes), so we've credited your Groupon account with $3 in Groupon Bucks. This credit never expires and will automatically apply to your next Groupon purchase. You can see your Bucks balance in the upper right corner when you're signed in at www.groupon.com/mygroupons.
Once again, we're so sorry that this purchase didn't go as planned, and we're doing everything we can to make sure we don't make a mistake like this again. If there's anything more we can do for you, please let us know at www.groupon.com/support.
Regards,
Groupon Customer Support
