Godaddy Groupon $70 credit for $25 or $30 credit for $10

Fucking godaddy. Always auto renews my shit for $14 - 15 every fucking time. And I wish they could apply that renewal code in retrospect. Cost of laziness and I don't want to make it manual in case I forget :(

Is there a way to apply the codes after they get auto renewed?

Nope, not possible. Looks like buying domains in the marketplace gonna get expensive the next couple of months haha.

Why fucking, its your decision to put them on auto :)
If you check your email it is impossible to forget, they send few emails, first being long time before due. I suggest everybody to put it on manual if you do not pay almost double price.
ps: I had some glitches with godaddy when somehow my all domains were reset to auto without me knowing. It happened 2 times already.

Not sure where where to apply this voucher... I am in Godaddy>My Account

Now what?

Also bought 10, thought I have transfered most of my domains to NC.. I only keep domains I won in the auctions until I remember to transfer..

Talk to your account exec or call them, they can issue you a refund after the fact.

Nope, not possible.

Yes, it is possible, if you ask nicely. I've had them refund me the difference dozens of times over the years. That being said, don't be so lazy. Renew your shit for the coming month on the last day of the month and just get in the habit of doing so, or renew everything for a year or more at a time.

also host4half hosting code neat too

Why on earth would you host your sites with a domain registrar?

For me, GoDaddy are the RyanAir of Domain Names - I hate dealing with them so much, I wouldn't use them if they were free. If you can put up with their interface and constant upsells though, that's a very good deal :)

wanted to buy the groupons, but they do not accept foreign credit cards (other than US, UK, CAN, AUS) :(

Fortunately I have a payment method that's accepted with Groupon, although I had to use a US proxy to get the GoDaddy page to load. I'm guessing they are blocking IPs outside of the Groupon service area. I picked up another 8 coupons this afternoon for a total of 16 now, or $400 spent to get $1120 in credit.

Buy at godaddy, transfer to another registrant before expiration.

I thought godaddy/groupon would close the deal before the deadline. Looks like they're fine with what we are doing.

Even if they did not like that they would not close it, they just would enforce 1 per customer rule. They would not close it for all the honest buyers (they would not close it for 99% of th people just because 1% of people abused the system)

Godaddy Hosting sucks. Give you that.
I have bluehost
for a few bigger sites.
But for all the small ones, with a lot of domain names, it's really cheap and hell it's convenient.

i moved into ecommerce now, using shopify.
I think differently now, used to hate godaddy for being such a pain but with all the restrictions of that it would actually not be so bad.
