Getting a new camera.

Well, I have a Kodak for sale in the for sale forum. I would say it's a cool camera for novice to casual users.

If you're looking for a pro model it wouldn't be the camera for you. So I guess it really depends on what you're looking to do with it and how much control you need.

depends on what you want it for? something slim and compact for random personal use? no need to spend $500, but i can't reccomend one. If you're looking for a professional camera... i'd shop around for the best price you can find on a canon or nikon digital SLR... you can find one for close to that price.

I really love my Kodak Easyshare Z740. It's really easy to use and takes beautiful photos. It's not the smallest digital camera out there, but it's light-weight. It has a 10X optical zoom and is 5.0 mp. I believe Kodak has an upgraded one out now that is over 6 mp.

I agree, Kodak does make a very user-friendly camera. But I think it lacks the professional feel that some of the Nikon or Canon cameras have.
