Hmm... I'm actually suprised that this dude got banned. I guess Jon knows something that I don't, but I thought he was giving pretty decent advice.

When you think about what he was saying it's not that difficult, wouldn't be impossible anyways. Start a niche membership site, earn 3-5k the first month, and then sell it for $20k. I think this is a valid idea.

I guess I don't care either way. But I've seen far worst posts than this one go unpunished.

As for the ebook stuff, even if he is an ebook author, as long he's not selling it here I could really care less. Are "make money" ebooks a bigger scam than other products that we push? Think work from home, payday loans, ringtones, ebay success kits, herbal penis juice, they're all rip offs.

Oh well.
 


His post wasnt bad, but it wasnt good either. All he said was make a site, offer membership and sell it after a few months. And he was a blatant fake and liar, he only showed us one website, which was empty and useless, and refused to show us any other site for 'legal reasons', which is a bullshit excuse. He also got his blog exposed which had a gay ass template picture of himself (most probably fake) on it, and he was also trying to promote this ebook in his sig earlier on. Screw him, and screw betagamma.

I believe NO one is beneath me. I can see the way I act may seem like I know it all or I have a big chip on my shoulder. I just suffer from over confidence and it is good and bad. I have talked to many people on this forum on the phone and via PM or IM and most know that much of it is for fun, debate and to break the monotiny of the daily grind. I am also new to forums so my etiquette sucks, but oh well.

I don't mind insults man. At all. But when someones tries to slam my integrity and character, is when I get pissed. Yes my inegrity and chracter before priosn was shit. I worked hard for the last 2 years to redeem myself showing people that I can be trusted. But that's what I get for talking out my ass. I get guys like Jon, wanting to shut my ass up. 2 years ago, yes, now, good luck dude.

As for Steve C. don't know him from Atom, but let's say for argument sake, he was embellishing the amount he has made or how quickly and often he sells membership forums. You still gonna say that he didn't say anything useful.

The difference between his post and BetaIdiot was that he did offer to answer questions, he EVEN said hey I put my nuts out there for you guys to wack with a hammer. And boy did we gang up on the guy.

As for him ever selling an ebook, or even if he gave thought at anytime of doing so, is that totally wrong? My only dislike of ebooks is in the area of making money online and selling them to internet marketing community. What if the guy was gonna offer an ebook that provided information about something outside of the making money online niche?

What ends up happening is people who trully have something to contribute are gonna lurk, see this thread and say, "fuck those guys over at WF,aint no way Im gonna put my nutz in a vice for them".

I agree 100% with the first bit. I for one don't give a fuck about making any friends on any forums, let alone going about it in the cool American way or licking major ass to get "accepted" by some fools. And why do all this so I can then post some ideas to help them making money??

One thing i don't get is when people "need" to see some "hard proof" that the system works (whatever the system is).

By asking for proof, these people give themselves out as the unimaginative ones, I mean, you read the idea, does it spark your imagination? yes? then improve on it, change this or that and make it yours, what do you want dubious proofs for?
I will decide if it is a good idea MYSELF by using my own brain, I need no fucking proof.
Perhaps I should create a site to give guidance to people who need to manufacture proof so they can convince the sheep, manufacturing proof seems so fucking easy to me.

If it is a good Idea, that is. And they CAN TELL a good idea from a not so good idea, no need to see any proof. There ain't no internet, no papers, those people decide there and then.

gladi8tor, you are right with the last bit as well but you are at the same time wrong.
Some of the best shit I have learned from this forum has come from people who needed to "prove" themselves, after they have been attacked by someone.
BYA squeezed a great idea (the one about fishing disgrunted people out of complaint sites ) out of that other guy whatever his name was. I am now making a couple of $30 conversions each day just by sending a few posts to the right people, much less work than it took to write this -unique content- post!
Who cares if some one gets scared into not posting if some get their ideas squeezed out of them :)

fuck me man, use Google! he gave you a starting point now do your own research, see if these member sites are REALLY out there, see how much they are bidding on adwords, see how many clicks they purchase a day, see where they send the traffic to, dig into them for a day or so, gather your data, search the forum for data by users who purchased membership, if you know your stuff, more often than not you'll get into these sites' private areas and read their forums, access their goodies... if you find they have 2000 active members in there and they all pay $50 per month to be there then you got your data and you know they work, yeah?

Now comes the difficult part: create one yourself. at this point I often give up.
 
it's all good really my forum etiquette sucks ass as well. Half the time no one understands what I'm saying, myself included.

After reading through all these posts, and given how the mechanics of WF works, a system such as this is probably best kept under wraps. If it is true, that is.

Your not going to see anyone showing too many lists of 1000+ hot keywords in a niche no one has seen b4 (or overlooked).

I guess information is king...and money. And running a site. blog, or whatever that looks like something which is disliked and distrusted in this forum, well then that is your own choice. But, it may be harder to validate your claims about not having a "likeness" to something in question, when after looking at your site, it is quite a "likeness". Hell, maybe even a strong "likeness".

I find it more liberating to live my life assuming that no matter what I do, nobody will ever trust me.

The problem after that is that if they know you don't need them then they'll hate you for it.
So you become invisible and there'll be nobody to hate.
Affiliate marketing is great for this.

I think you should really go. It's not that you have to prove anything to anyone, but *not* going after you had said you would be there sure does give people something (else) to be suspicious about... If you show up, you instantly gain some credibility.

OK, Im on parole and I'm not allowed 50 miles from my home without a "PASS" from my Parole agent. I have spoken with her snd she said would talk with her supervisor but that the answer would most likely be no because it's not an emergency. I was just going to go but it's not worth getting violated and going to Chino, over an affiliate summit.:error:

I have credibilty with people that I care to have credibility with. As far as people being suspicious, I understand why and that's their choice. There is no advantage business wise, to prove to them I am real.

I just spoke with SEO Mike and he has told me before that debating with people doesn't pay my bills, so I'm just going to shut up and work on my projects with him. He knows what's up and is probaly the only one I care about and is a real genuine good trustworthy guy.

Too much drama in this thread.

Why not spend the time improving your campaigns instead.

Before I got into IM and before I got married, I used to spend half my life on MUDs and online games. My efforts were just some kinda .dat file on a server and it didn't make me squat.

My time spent on WF is best spent on learning from those who are better than me in specific areas like CPA and PPC.

When things escalate whether it has with the lingle issue or the steve celeste issue, I figure that I have 24 hours in a day, i can work my projects, spend time with my daughter, or get into the mix and fire off posts every 5 mins in here.

There's no right or wrong answer to all of this, but take note that you have a limited time every day, and unless your campaigns are running on autopilot and banking for you, what'll help you in the longrun is seeing if a thread is leading anywhere and if it isn't, making a smart decision about it.

There are a number of internet marketers who've been charged with fraud and misrepresentation, and spent time in the slammer and faced hefty fines.

But they obviously have their priorities straight as several are doing much better now, compared to before.

Watch, listen and learn are the buzzwords that've worked well for me.
 
Yea instead of constantly arguing we should be trying to make money with affiliate marketing and websites and helign each other out. Thats the goal.
