i'd be interested to see how you draw them in with the offer? do you show them examples of the content they'll get? is it a salesy page? your 1 in 33 could be 1 in 3333 if you don't sell it right... probably the most important part. Would be interested to see... once they click on that adwords ad... what is the logical thought process and flow that leads to the membership purchase.

I really do make $800 a day with a myspace resource site and I provided info which helped some people. :bigear:

It really depends on the niche....
If it has to do with a sport or hobby, it generally has no hype at all and it just gives the benefits of the membership, events being held, special tickets, etc.
If it is on jobs,marketing,money, your normal typical hyped up salespage.
The key is to show "What they get" and "Why they need it" if they don't need it, it shouldn't be in your memberships.
Like if you had a membership for Fishing and then you said, also on Sundays the membership gets updated with teh bowling statistics... This is a turnoff, shouldn't even be included....

Something more unique will make more money on a monthly basis.

I was thinking "damn, why didn't I start this site?" Five minutes later I see this thread. Care to share any sites you've built and sold that we may have heard of before? If not, it's cool.
I'm not the expert here, but I'd guess that it's all about the value of the site. The jamplay site I mentioned above costs $20 a month, and you get videos, lessons, and even face to face lessons via video for that price. $20 a month to learn from the comfort of your own home vs. $20+ per private lesson with a guitar instructor. If I was learning guitar all over again I'd almost definitely sign up for the site.
So, in my opinion, you'd have to offer exclusive content that people are willing to pay for. If I was into scuba diving, and a membership site had exclusive videos of an underwater cave being explored for the first time or something along those lines, then I'd probably pay it.

My thoughts are that the membership site scripts are expensive as hell and, unless you pirate them which is bad mojo if your selling the site, I cant see past that one point...

I meant 800 a day, not 800 a month. No need to pretend to be smart. maybe you are; but I did try to provide helpful advice on several occasions. My post on how to make money online was valuable to some people. Maybe not everyone, but if alteast one person learned something it was worthwhile.
