Gallup: Ron Paul Down Only 2% Against Obama

Dude - last time was a fight for every point in the polls, a fight to get him in the debates, etc...

He's top tier this time.

And if you think Obama is a "GOOD GUY" you can vote for him. I'd think that his record (lack of one prior to being elected president as well) speaks volumes.

We don't need a "good guy" - we need a not bought guy with some brains and vision that is different from the same shit we've been doing for decades. Hell my trash man is a good guy, but he didn't finish high school. But he knows shits fucked up and he's worried about his future and knows that his kids are fucked unless something changes.

Ron Paul voters will never show up to vote because they know the government mind control implants are transferred by touch from ballots.

Ron Paul is crazy and he will never be President.

Thanks for adding absolutely nothing to the conversation, troll.

You're using my description of Obama being a "good guy" as some artificially manufactured arguing point. I wasn't arguing that he's a good president, or that being a "good guy" qualifies you to be president. I'm simply stating that he is someone in office with good intentions, but our system is fucked to the point where someone with "good intentions" can't do shit. Even in the astronomically low chance that Ron Paul were elected, do you realize that he is 1 of a handful of politicians that think the way he does? Do you really think the thousands of politicians with agendas of their own aren't going to (successfully) interfere with that in any way that they can? Political reform starts at the ground up. When your representatives and senators are absolute shit, having a president whose head is in the right place isn't going to do much. Hate to break it to you, but that is perfectly evidenced by Obama.

See that's where we disagree. I don't think Obama's intentions were good. I don't think he's a good guy, and I don't think he was qualified to be our President.

And I'm not a left wing tea party person either.

I also don't think that a single person at the top can't change things. He certainly can't change anything - but the Presidency allows for a pretty big talking platform. And people listen - and he would have the opportunity to GUIDE the nation in a new direction.

The tea party has already changed politics - some for the better, some for the worse. But it has changed things.

Barack Obama is the exact same bullshit we've had in every president since Kennedy, and probably since 1913. He's owned. I mean if you sat down and had a beer with the guy I'm sure he'd be a character to talk to, but he's not a good guy in that he's done anything good or even different for this country. And if Romney or Perry or whatever other moronic fucktard the press decides should get elected manages to win, then we will have a whole lot more of the same.

The fact is Ron Paul is actually the front runner in Republican primary or at least a close 2nd, especially in the first states to vote. If he manages to take Iowa, which there is a reasonable possibility he could do, then he could win the whole thing because the press can't leave his name off the results of the Iowa Caucus. He's already gaining massive momentum and something like that would simply put him over the top.
