I have 25/25 and here's what SpeedTest.net shows:
With Comcast, I supposedly had 35/25 yet I never got speeds above 20/15 and even that was rare.
I guess if I'm used to the below now, 15 or 25 should be fine. Thanks for the info!

it's REALLY easy to go through that much bandwidth if you've got servers - i do lots of software and the only way to keep google off my back was to keep my downloads on the same subnet as my LPs - (plus lots of smoke, mirrors and well-timed gift baskets to the rep)
few thousand downloads a day adds up quick.

Bandwidth is cheap, bandwidth isn't hardly anything to begin with, it's just a number that companies try to sell you on.

If you're banking a couple grand a month you should have at least two internet connections on two separate connection methods, ie one dsl one cable.
My main ISP (cable) goes down a couple times a year for a day or two, and it's totally worth it to have backup DSL at 40/month to rely on.
Plus if you're running any kind of scrapers/macros you can use a second desktop on your backup connection so you don't rape your DL/UL.

Fuck you guys and your blazing fast internet. Garrett, looks like you and me are riding the WF ISP short bus, I got speeds about like that too. Maybe that's why I have two windows VPSs.

you must be raping newsgroups, thats some ridiculous bandwidth right there. rdp works over dialup, that is not your problem.
Citrix will answer your bandwidth problems you can rdp over citrix sessions. As for a temp solution until you get fiber, rent an office that has internet for a month or two. It's probably gonna be worth it if your about to loose several thousand due to this issue!
