I'm gonna go ahead and give the "beginning" of a review and I'll follow up if I see more stuff happen down the line.
I didn't have any web 2.0s or whatever to give Marc so I had him make the 301 redirects for me instead. I gave him 4 URLs (home page + 3 inner pages) to spread it out a bit so it's not all directly blasting the fuck out of my home page.
When it started I was at #15, and as of today I'm somewhere between #13 - #11 (datacenters, how do they work). Not much improvement yet, but my traffic from Google is definitely up big time. Problem is, I can't see what freakin' keywords they're coming from, but I can only assume it must be a bunch of longtails. So all in all, it's working pretty good so far.
And for numbers people, he gave me 44 shortened URLs which he was hitting. I checked 5 of them randomly in ahrefs:
1 had ~800 backlinks
1 had ~1.1k backlinks
3 had ~2.2-2.4k backlinks
So, that's that.

My url went from the middle of 3rd page to the middle of the 2nd page today. lets see how this plays out.

No, the addon was not done on your project. Links go out for 10 days so that could be what caused the jump.
