even if arbi is dead, this should still be useful for generating niche sites on the fly, and relying on seo for organic traffic. u might have to pull in some extra content, or spin the wiki stuff before you get any good results from it tho.

Noticed that too. I was wondering why I didn't get my site to work, then when I tried it in FF&IE it worked perfect... FF&IE sux. Any suggestions on how to make it work in Opera?
 
as long as your traffic quality is good enough, doing arbi is fine. google just wants happy advertisers...if your arb site converts for the advertisers they won't do anything.
 
If anyone is still interested in this script, I've started making some modifications. Here are some I made in the last hour:

- CSS file rotator so page looks will vary.
- PHP coding made more intuitive and editable.
- HTML standards implemented.
- Some hard layout modification that makes a little more sense.

I'll work on it more tomorrow. I didn't really look at the wiki-ripping code at all though, but I'm interested in modifying how it grabs so I can look into cutting out some extraneous content the script currently pulls.

If anyone has any suggestions, shoot. :bigear:
 
im interested. sounds like a nice easy script to use on the fly.

love to try out on a few small niches i have.any time frame of when we can try neumann?
 
Just wondering if you had a chance to work on the script since last post?

Also, have a lot of you all got or seen others really get adsense acct. shut down for arbi.? I've heard mixed comments from everywhere.. I know it is against TOS but then again you can just not make it totally obvious, the CTR will go down but still lots of room to make $$..

WHat i have heard from a lot is that they have quit using adwords and using YPN or other to pull traffic and still use adsense to monetize their page without any probs...
 
wow, this is still happening huh.. if your going to mess with arbitrage, probably do it on a small scale and make your site look alot better than this one, if you want to scale it up make your site look legit and realize that you will likely get banned, but probably will be paid

I am just learning php/mysql and if nothing else this will come in handy as a learning resource and tool. I look forward to playing around with it.
 
Did you use pear to grab that image resize class and if so whats the package name?
