Sentencing someone who has $80+ million in BTC to life in prison is not a good idea. I'm pretty sure he could pay some Mexican drug cartel guys to fly a helicopter to the prison and break him out for a fraction of his fortune. What does the guy have to lose? Maybe Grunin could hitch a ride, too.

You realize by telling the cartel that you have $80m sitting somewhere that they WILL break you out of jail and then proceed to behead your family members one by one until you give them all $80m right? They don't want a fraction, they want it all.
Best thing he can do is tell someone he trusts how to access it and spend it on high priced lawyers to try and appeal his case. That and stick some money on your books for snickers bars and shit.
