Invested $6, made $20. Jackpot.

Find an offer with a small demographic and with a good ad copy you are sure to get a high ctr%.

Think outside the box, use some facebook related icons in your image to catch the eyes of your visitor.

How long does it typically take for an ad to be approved?

They usually start at 10 - 11 am CST and then again at 6-8 pm CST. I've had ads go un-reviewed for a few days though. I recreated them and they were approved/disapproved in the next few hours. Odd.

FB gonna ban u if they find out LOL

They might. If they do though, you can probably play the stupid card though. I know a few other affiliates that have had their accounts disabled and re-enabled more than once. I'd be careful though. Don't raise any questions if the ads get disabled, as they'll know you are up to something. Otherwise, good suggestion with the idea to use something recognizable. I could see that working towards your CTR, however people not looking for that offer might not convert very well. Gotta be on the safe side there too.

I'm doing pretty well with facebook and i want to increase my clicks.

Can i run multiple ads with slightly different ad copy, but going to the SAME URL all on the SAME account?

(yeah, i'm a longtime lurker!)

Yeah, you can. That's called TESTING lol. perfectly acceptable.

Use seperate subids so you know which ones are actually converting better, though. I pull this shit off everyday, tweaking and splintering ads, adding 1 word, taking out 3, experimenting with which one will not only get users to click, but then convert.

I've ran the same ads twice, same pic, same headline, but I added one word to the ad text and it converted much better.

Does adding multiple ads linking to the SAME url increase your traffic though? or just split test it..

Say im getting 800 clicks a day to AD1.
and i want 8000 clicks a day and my target market is huge!

Can i take AD1 and change 1 single word in the body on each ad, and make 10 ads with 1 different word in each AD, and technically receive 10x the traffic?

As you probably know, there is the "create a similar ad" button on the right side of the ad summary page. I use it to even create an ad for a different offer if the target demo is similar.

Destroy Your Competition on Facebook

Sorry for the shameless self-promotion, but it might be helpful to those still getting started up on facebook.

As for the question about creating more ads: Generally, it should increase your spending (atleast with what I've noticed), although more of that depends on your ctr, what you are promoting, and click price. Even raising your click prices 1 or 2 cents can have an extreme impact on the amount of impressions you'll get.

@hyperion

How do you go about viewing ads from other countries like nz, uk, etc.

In my experience, simply making a profile that says you're from another country does not work.. I still see ads based on my actual psychical location.

Interesting article as well. Not sure I agree with your stand on reporting other advertisers, but to each their own.

i just know it's going to happen. i created a dozen new ads last night, mostly tame stuff with a few ads pushing the limit, and they ALL got denied. the fb guy just ditched them all without considering them individually. :( So i resubmitted them this morning and ive been waitin all day to get my reviews. i just know ill be waiting for nothing and theyll ditch the whole batch again. sucks cause im waiting on them to decide on these before i submit more. very frustrating. lost day.

on another note, i suspect they try to limit traffic on a per-account basis when you run many ads for the same sponsor. so if I had two ads run under one fb account, i'd get less traffic than with the same two ads on two different accounts. i dont know this for fact but suspect. anyone know if it really effects it?

OMG FB killz me!

You know how accounts have a daily spending limit. Say you want to increase your limit to more than $1000 (anyone do this btw?). Do you think fbook will take a good indepth look into what your promoting/your ads and such?

You're seriously spending up to $1,000 a day? That's major ads.

If worse comes to worse, open a separate account?
